Every night, the Cueva Flamenca los Amayas becomes a vibrant stage where art, emotion, and tradition come together. Located in the heart of Sacromonte, this centuries-old cave hosts an intimate show of pure flamenco, without PA systems or gimmicks, where every sound and every gesture are experienced up close.
Here, flamenco is not performed, it is lived. The artists, many of them members of the Amaya family, have grown up with this music as their everyday language. The result is an authentic, emotional experience deeply connected to the neighborhood's roots.
The Cueva de los Amayas offers a close-up, real, and magical experience in the most authentic flamenco setting.
Furthermore, its careful lighting and intimate atmosphere allow the viewer to feel every note, every moan, and every heel tap with an intensity that is difficult to describe. It's not just a spectacle: it's an immersion in the gypsy soul of Granada, which remains alive in these white caves.

The show itself was fine, but the experience we had after the show was awful. We had been told by the taxi dropping us off at the site which is way up the hill in Sacromonte that after the show, just have the staff call a taxi and it would be easy to be picked back up again. The show ended, we asked the staff to call a taxi, and they refused saying if they called, they would be responsible for paying. We had no phone service or would have called ourselves. Another 2 couples were in the same predicament of needing rides but no cell service. It was now late at night, in a secluded and dark hilltop, and they not only refused to call a taxi, they closed up shop, walked right through the group and went home leaving us standing in the street outside their place. About half an hour later a random taxi came through. He took us and called another for the other group. What could have been such an easy thing to do turned into a horrid experience for their customers. Think twice before going there.

Taking advantage of the visit to Granada, we wanted to see a flamenco show. After looking at opinions from different tablaos, we chose the Cave of the Amayas, and I have to say that it is a sure hit. As a flamenco lover, I give them a 10. Thank you for the strength and art you give away! 💃🏽

This show is a must-see for anyone visiting Granada. Atmosphere is great, dancers are very talented and passionate. I advise you to arrive 20-30 minutes before start time so you get seated at the best seats. There is an option to order drinks too.

This was truly an exceptional experience! We first did the Museum of the Caves and then went to this Flamenco show and it was a great combination. I treasure this show and the dancers and singer/ guitarist. So much passion The cave was a phenomenal venue for the show. We also received a glass of wine or beer with the show. Get there early for the better seats. We arrived before 6 to wait in line. This was the highlight of my time in Spain!!! Thank you!

It's a team of 5 people, Individually they deserve the five, for their training and know-how, and when developing their guitar or singing and dancing functions, both the two dancers and the dancer deserve a 10
