As a Singaporean, I didn't expect to learn so much from this food tour. It gave me a deeper appreciation of the stories and culture behind our local dishes. A fun and eye-opening experience that I'd highly recommend to both locals and tourists.

Our guide Ling was super amazing! She had a very wide range of knowledge from the cultural heritage of Singapore to where the food came from! Totally worth coming!

Thoroughly enjoyable experience exploring and understanding Singapore with Ling (Serene). Her knowledge of the place is impeccable, and she brings many delightful tidbits that are behind-the-scenes and historically significant. The tour is focused not only on food but also heritage, culture and history. Singapore is known for its great food, but not many would be aware of the foods' origins and beginnings. The stories make the experience of eating local food more meaningful and special. I especially liked the breadth of narratives - this includes multiethnic and religious elements, mythology, history, and a dash of sociology. There were many interesting sights and landmarks along the way that adds to the experience. I can tell that a lot of effort has been put into curating the best of Singapore into a 3hour+ tour, and the places that we were brought to have very rich and interesting, sometimes even surprising stories behind them. Walking around culturally significant landmarks with these stories makes everything come alive! The guide is very attentive and affable, and communicates in a very engaging manner, making us feel included and welcomed. The sincerity in showcasing Singapore's unique culture is strongly felt. If you're someone who's looking for great flavours and textures (gastronomical experience) AND human stories and history (cultural experience), this is tour will be up your alley!

The tour was pretty well paced out, so even though we were eating quite a bit of food, there was space in between to digest. Serene was a very affable host that made you feel like an old friend hanging out. What I liked best was how it was more than just a food tour but they also brought to life and peppered with interesting food nuggets based on the history and culture of the area. For instance, I have been to Tian Hock Kheng temple before on my own and with previous tours, but never realised that all the offerings different and had interesting stories. As a local, I would definitely recommend this to both locals and tourists. For tourists, it is the ultimate starter pack of local food (char siew, roast pork, laksa, curry puff, kaya toast, kopi, sugar cane juice, pineapple tart, bak kwa, soya sauce chicken rice/noodles, lime juice). As someone super familiar with the area, i was surprised to make a new discovery too!

Fantastic introduction to Chinatown. Loved the roast pork with its crackling skin and bbq pork. Sugar cane juice and lime juice at various food stops was a refreshing one to beat the heat. Nanyang iced coffee is another favourite to go with kaya and toast bread. Loved to hear the history of landmarks around Chinatown. Guide is very knowledgeable about the culture, history of the place and food. Pace was comfortable and didnt feel like 3 hours had whisked by. Glad that route had shade throughout most of it and managed to get air con along the way. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed the food tour. The pace was comfortable and well-planned, giving us plenty of time to savour each stop without feeling rushed. Our tour guide was friendly, engaging, and shared fascinating stories about the local food culture and history behind the dishes we tried. The variety of food was excellent, and I appreciated the opportunity to sample both popular favourites and hidden gems. Overall, it was a memorable experience that combined great food, interesting history, and wonderful company. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys exploring a destination through its food and culture.

Comfortable pace with friendly guide Ronald. Indeed a flavourful tour with local delights chosen like curry puff, bak kwa (bbq jerky), toast and coffee, laksa, soya sauce chicken noodles and roast pork & char siew rice! Also had refreshing mid walk drinks throughout to stay hydrated. Food tour mixed with sharing of heritage nuggets and visited a Chinese Temple and got to know more about Telok Ayer and Chinatown area. Guide was very patient and ensured we were all comfortable with walking through shaded area, some aircon! Definitely would recommend this tour!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Flavors of Singapore Food Tour in Chinatown. The food selection was excellent, from soya chicken noodles, curry puff, local coffee and kaya toast to laksa and roast pork rice — a great introduction to Singapore's diverse food culture. The pace of the tour was comfortable, with thoughtful routing through shaded streets that made the walk enjoyable despite the weather. What made the experience special were the insider stories and local insights shared along the way, which brought Chinatown's history and culture to life. A well-balanced tour for anyone looking to experience authentic Singaporean food and heritage.
