If you’re the kind of traveler (not tourist) who likes to walk, listen, see and TASTE…this food tour is for you—a food tour and a city tour blended into one to make the most of your short stay on our sunny island.
Indulge yourself with making your own Rum Cocktails – don’t worry, we’ll show you how! Dine through Charlotte Amalie and take in a full lunch progressively enjoyed across a mix of famous and hidden gem foodie haunts in the capitol city near both cruise ports.
Savor Caribbean classics like flavorful curried chicken, slow roasted pulled pork tacos and local rum. Push your foodie IQ by trying creole “fungi” and fried yellow plantain.
We’ll dig deep into the island’s rich past of pirates, rum and even delicious home made cakes. Let us show you our little slice of paradise and get you involved in the local food scene so you leave with the confidence and knowledge of a local.

We had such a fun experience tasting the local food and drinks of St Thomas. Michelle was an incredible hostess bringing her love of culture and history to the tour. We would definitely recommend!

Michelle was a great tour guide, sharing lots of history with us with a genuine love of the island and life! She made the day extra fun and the food was so good. I loved the tea, curry chicken, plantains, the bananas foster and of course, the Painkillers! It was nice having such a small group too, we got a chance to talk to everyone. Afterwards you can stay in town and shop if you so desire. Such a great tour, this is our second time!

We had a great time on this tour. The food and drinks were tasty and the amount we were served felt like a great value. Sabrina was an awesome guide. She had lots of good historical info and her enthusiasm for her home really shone through.

This was a wonderful experience. We loved the restaurants and learning this history of St. Thomas. Each location was so welcoming and friendly. The food was tasty and unique. We never would have found these places without our tour.

This tour was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Our guide Sabrina was absolutely fantastic! Fun, funny and so knowledgeable. This tour combines the best of Caribbean food, drink and history. It even helps you burn some of the calories with nice little walks from place to place. 758 for a delicious drink, E’s tea house had the best saltfish and Johnny cakes, and bunker hill hotel had the BEST plantains and mango chutney!!! We then got the tuck shop for phenomenal conch fritters and a cocktail lesson, and finished with bananas foster at virgillos. Everything was delicious and learning about the island while we ate was so fun! Favorite tour on the trip, look forward to going again when we return :)

Met Michelle right on time at Fort Christian. Only 2 of us; so, sort of a private tour, but more would have been great also. Fun, bubbly person, with an interesting background which gave her real insights. Easy walking; small town. We leave the beach area. Back to where the locals go – she says, and I think so. 5 brief stops: 758 Bar & Restaurant for a Bushwacker (invented in St. Thomas). E'S GARDEN TEAHOUSE for salted cod quiche and tea. (New England whalers brought salt cod to the Carib.) SUGARCANE GRILLE for curried chicken. (Indentured folks from India brought curry, when slavery was abolished.) Tuck Shop for conch fritters and Painkillers (fritters are everywhere in Carib; there is a dispute as to whether the drink was invented in British or American Virgin Islands). VIRGILIO'S ITALIAN CUISINE for Bananas Foster (A+).
