The Classical Gardens of Suzhou
Your local great guide and driver will pick up you at your downtown Shanghai hotel. Follow your guide and make your way to Suzhou by modern fast bullet train. On the way, spend few mins to tailor-made you tour. As private tour, the itinerary is totally flexible, following is the sample itinerary, be sure to let your guide know if need make any adjustment during the tour. Upon arrival, pay the visit to the UNESCO Garden-The Humble Administrator’s Garden built more than 5 century ago, spend quality time to explore different areas of the charming garden designed with ponds, exquisite rockeries, pavilions ,towers and listen to the rich history , culture and custom from your guide.

Next Head to Pingjiang road, preserved as one of the heritages in the Grand Canal. Enjoy a nice stroll down the stone paved alley streets full of local colorful stores, street food, arts, crafts and more. Choose to enjoy a relaxing gondola ride along the waterway to fully appreciate the charm of “Oriental Venice”. 5.00It was a good day trip at leisure pace. Melinda our tour guide was very professional and friendly. Itinerary was good which adequately covered Suzhou’s UNESCO historical sites. Very satisfied. Food was excellent, which only a local knows where to get it.

5.00I had an amazing day tour in Suzhou, and Annie made it absolutely unforgettable. From start to finish, everything was seamless. I was picked up from my hotel, taken to the bullet train, and then greeted with a private car in Suzhou for a full day of exploring the city’s highlights. Annie is warm, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about Suzhou’s history and culture. She brought every stop to life—from ancient pagodas to tranquil canals, classical gardens, stone bridges, and charming old streets. She explained the meaning behind the architecture, the symbolism in the gardens, and even pointed out details I never would’ve noticed on my own. The pace was perfect, never rushed, and she always made sure I was comfortable, had great photo spots, and even helped me try local food. The coordination between bullet train and private car was effortless, and I felt completely taken care of the entire time. If you’re visiting Shanghai and want a beautiful, peaceful, historic contrast to the big city, this Suzhou tour is a must—and Annie is the guide you absolutely want. Highly recommend!

5.00We had a great time in Suzhou with Rita. She did a great job personalizing the tour and knew the best spots for photos. She had great recommendations for "off the beaten track" spots where it wasn't full of tourists too. What a great experience! She also took us to a fantastic lunch and helped us order delicious hotpot. All in all,a great experience and Rita obviously knows her stuff.
