We did the early morning David tour combined with a tour of the Duomo that included a walk along the terraces. It was spectacular. Our tour guide Livia, was fantastic. Our daughters, 11 and 13 really enjoyed the experience. It was just the right amount of time to see the David as well as other sculptures in the Accademia before moving onto the Duomo. Seeing the city from a private walk along the walls was more than worth the price of the tour.

We had an excellent time with Barbara (Babi) who led our David tour and with Sara who led our Duomo tour. For the David component, we were the first in line and the first to enter the space where David is on display. It was an incredible experience and massive credit to Liv Tours! Babi had lots of good knowledge to share and we walked away with a one of kind experience. For the Duomo, it was amazing to be able to walk on the upper terraces of the Duomo. The view, the education and the access were 5 out of 5! Great job to Sara and Babi!

The first viewing David and Duomo terrace tour was one the highlight of an amazing trip to Florence. I was skeptical that we would get the value out of this tour, considering its price point, but we absolutely did. We were the very first people to see David that morning and were able to observe the masterpiece up close and take completely unobstructed photos for a few minutes before anyone else entered the gallery. After, we visited to the Duomo terraces, which provided the most breathtaking, nearly 360° views of Florence without anyone else there (unlike the crowd at the top of the dome and tower) and being able to look down on the inside of the cathedral from the next to the clock was priceless. Duomo was sold out for the day and had lines going around the block by 9:30 that morning so being able to skip that line, really helped us maximize the use of our time in Florence. Our guide was amazing and, because we had extra time and 72-hour tickets from a previous tour of Duomo, she was able to take us to see the crypt. I can't recommend this tour enough.
