What to Expect
At the meeting point—easy to reach with provided instructions—you’ll be welcomed by our recognizable staff, who will provide a city map, free Wi-Fi, free wine tasting voucher and priority boarding on the bus.
You’ll travel directly to Florence, arriving at the train station area, the perfect starting point to immerse yourself in the “Cradle of the Renaissance,” a living open-air museum. You’ll have approximately 3.5 hours of free time to explore iconic squares, artistic masterpieces, and historic streets.

Pisa Tower: children under 8 years old cannot enter
Arrive at least 15 minutes before your Accademia Gallery entry; your tour leader will provide an exclusive entry code to collect your ticket
Tickets to the Accademia Museum are non-refundable in case of itinerary changes beyond our control

1.00Booked and paid for the tour option..which was not a tour at all. Guide said “ and here is the duomo which is a dome”, and then we went to the next site. No information provided. Several people who only booked the transfer from the port also joined the “ tour” for free and didn’t pay the extra for the tourist we did. Save your money next time and skip the tour - definitely not with it. Very disappointed as we expected a tour with information.

5.00Our excursion was a great experience. Meeting up with the tour was easy and the bus ride was comfortable to Florence. We opted not to walk with the guide, but explored on our own and visited the Accademia Museum. We felt we had enough time in both Florence and Pisa. An added bonus, the bus was able to return us directly to our cruise terminal! The guide was friendly, nice, and informative; giving us general information and safety tips.

5.00We had an amazing experience with Mattei and their tour agency. Our Florence and Pisa day trip was smooth from start to finish. Mattei was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had plenty of time to explore Florence on our own without ever feeling rushed. He kept everything organized and stress-free, which is exactly what you want on a tight schedule. They also made sure we got back to the port with time to spare, so we never had to worry about missing the ship—huge relief. If you want a well-run tour with a great guide who actually looks out for you, book with Mattei and City Sightseeing. Highly recommend!

5.00We had a great day visiting Florence and Pisa, everything went smoothly. Our tour leader Lumi was warm and welcoming, friendly and informative. The tour coach was double decker and very comfortable. The driver Maximillian looked after us well, and made sure we got back to our port on time. One point, we paid 8 euros extra when booking for a guided tour, but this seemed to be available to everyone.

5.00Fabulous seamless trip. Viator had an agent waiting at an easy to find meeting point. Handed us over to the tour guide Mattia who was great. We had a 1.5hr coach trip from our cruise to Florence. 2.5 hrs there then coach again to Pisa. What a great day. We opted for the additional walking tour in Florence. It was well worth it. Can 100% recommend.
