Don't miss out on Bioluminescent Kayaking at Haulover Canal in Titusville. Kayaking through bioluminescent water is truly a magical sight to behold, and it's an experience that you'll remember all your life. Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon. Our cooler water bioluminescent experience is the Bioluminescent Comb-Jellyfish. These jellyfish light up blue when they are disturbed, creating a surreal and magical effect in the water. In the summer, dinoflagellates are present, which are single-celled, planktonic organisms. They naturally produce light so when the water is disturbed in which they are in a bright blue-green light glows. When you kayak through the sparkling water, you’ll feel like you are in another world. Florida-Adventurer’s Bioluminescence Kayaking Tour is locally owned and operated. We know the best spots in Merritt Island Nature Reserve. Our certified tour guides are knowledgeable about the area and they will share interesting facts about the bioluminescence and other wildlife we’re sure you’ll meet along the way. Please be sure to make your reservations early as this Florida kayak tour tends to book out 2 weeks in advance.

Super cool experience got to see the bioluminescence and got to see beautiful stars and comb jellies! Very friendly and easygoing guides and I would recommend to a friend. We went in October so it wasn’t too cold either but definitely got a little wet and definitely bring bug spray in preparation!

This was so worth it. My party of 4 (Soul Sisters) annual vacation to FL was topped off with this tour. It was really fun to see the water glow and was a bonus to see it flowing directly beneath us. Terrence was a great tour guide and shared his knowledge with us. We enjoyed it so much, that we plan on going on the Manatee and Dolphin tour next year. Just pieces of advice: As much as I loved the Clear Kayak, you sit lower in it. It is more like a seatless canoe. not recommended if your short as I am (4'5") we had to use more arm power and stretch over more. Next time will be in a regular kayak as you sit a little higher. I would also add that you use deep woods bugs spray, We had just the reg bug spray and assuming with the water it was not very preventative.

Booked the bioluminescence late tour on a Thursday night. As it was late in the season, I was cautiously optimistic about how luminescent the waters would actually be or if we'd see anything at all. It was just my brother and I and Jeremiah, our tour guide. Fortunately it was a dark night and the temperature was perfect. Jeremiah was very knowledgeable about the whole area, including wildlife, trees, and, of course the focus - the waters. It was a great experience and the waters really did light up as we paddled and played with the luminescent creatures. Would highly recommend this tour. Unfortunately it wasn't bright enough for pictures with cell phones, but worth it.

The expectation was very high according to the photos they put up, however it was not possible to see even 10% of algae, although I understand that it is a nature issue if I think the Enterprise should be realistic in saying that we will find so much, since they go every day to the place and know if there is a good amount of algae, or if on the contrary there is almost nothing, as happened yesterday. The guide went far ahead of the group on several occasions, so we were left behind, and being a night experience the idea was that we would stick together.

We, a family of 5, went on the bioluminescent kayak tour last night. You definitely feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. We were concerned that we weren’t in the right area because there wasn’t any sign of life for a while. Luckily when we got to the destination we finally saw others. We checked in and waited til it was time to go over the safety rules. We were glad we had bug spray because the mosquitos were awful. Once we got in the boats they barely bothered us. Our guide was great! I wish I remembered his name. He was informative and funny which is a great combo. We saw fish jumping out of the water. Lots of jelly fish. I even held one. And the bioluminescence was great! We were concerned because you couldn’t see it immediately but once we paddled out a little ways it really popped. We would definitely recommend doing this.

The Sunday we were supposed to go on the tour the weather was terrible and they worked with us to get it rescheduled for later in the week. We went Wednesday night, Brian was our tour guide, and he was fantastic. He knew a lot about the area and The environment. He also showed us cone jellyfish that were bioluminescent as well. It was a really great time and would recommend it to all.

Fantastic tour led by Freedom. Well organized, great equipment, safety focused, and extremely friendly. Freedom was focused on ensuring everyone's needs were met while delivering educational background of bioluminescence. This was 2nd tour with Florida Adventurer and would highly recommend.
