This 2 hour Eco Tour will take you by boat to explore the Backcountry of the Florida Keys. We will cruise through the mangrove islands that make up the Backcountry and Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge. We will slow down and look for marine life and birdlife. Maybe see a turtle or dolphin. We will take you through "Skinny Water" and look for starfish, rays and sharks. It's a fun adventure not to be missed when visiting the Keys.

What To Expect

Big Pine Key

Explore mangroves of the backcountry gulf side of the Keys by private boat. We will look for marine life and birdlife. We will go slow and look for a turtle or a ray, dolphin or shark.

Captain Brian did a wonderful job on our backcountry boat tour yesterday. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and showed us so many interesting sights while sharing great information about the area. Even with cooler weather, he made the tour very enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic fishing charter out of Big Pine Key! The captain was knowledgeable, professional, and put us on fish fast. Great equipment, clean boat, and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend—we’ll definitely book again! Oh and great music!

Our family had a great time on the eco tour and Captain Brian was very knowledgeable about the area. Kids had a blast. We highly recommend the tour if you are in the Big pine key area.

We had an amazing day out in the boat with Captain Brian! He took us all over the Keys - lobstering, reef exploring and shell hunting. Brian made the whole trip such an adventure. The boat was super clean and comfortable and he knew all the best spots! Truly, a beautiful experience with my family from beginning to end! Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Captain Brian warned us that the fishing may not be great on day 1 but we chose to go anyway and he worked his tail off off together us on the fish. He said day 2 would be better and yes it was. Everything he and wife Allison said would happen is what happened. They were so cool and kind to us that it elevated our entire vacation. Taking home several bags of fish and memories to last a lifetime. They are really great at their craft and even better humans. Thank You Brian and Allison.

Beautiful day on the water Feb 2025 • Family Captain Brian was awesome! Our family of 4 (47, 46, 14, 11) had an amazing day snorkeling, paddleboarding and exploring the backwater of the Keys. The wind was high so water was too choppy for reef snorkeling but we all made the best of a beautiful day on the water. Brian was funny, professional and incredibly knowledgeable about the the area and ecosystems we were exploring. Thanks! The Rasmussen Family

Our family had an amazing time on the eco tour. We learned a lot about the history and ecology of the Keys in one of the most beautiful settings you can imagine. Captain Brian was fun, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. There was a beautiful spot for a swim and Brian let us jump in for a quick dip. Our family would definitely give this tour two thumbs up.

My kids first time to the keys and wanted to spoil them with a chartered trip on the water. Cpt Brian did not disappoint. Polite, fun and very knowledgable. My kids had a blast and got some great pics from Cpt B as well.
