What To Expect
Forbidden City Tour
Morning, your guide will meet you at the hotel lobby. You’ll take a taxi to the Ming-Qing Costume Experience Hall, spend about an hour getting dressed in the period costumes, then walk to the Forbidden City. Led by the guide, you’ll explore its 600-year royal history, the guide will also take great photos for you as a pro photographer and explain the history—let’s fully immerse in this Ming and Qing journey!

5.00Our tour guide Cathy was awesome, very experienced and knowledgable about history and current buildings, shared many interesting historic facts, all access was very quick and efficient, no waiting time, and very efficient avoiding crowds. She is very good company, shared good jokes and kept the entire tour in very friendly manner. Cathy also has excellent time management, arragned everthing in advance and minimized the waiting time. The driver was also great, picked us up timely in front of hotel as well as exactly after finishing each section of the tour. Higly recommend!

5.00We had a fantastic private tour with Cathy. She shared a lot of interesting historical facts during the tour, making the experience even more enriching. Best guide ever ! At the hotel, Cathy and driver Su arrived a few minutes earlier than the agreed time, showing great punctuality. The driver was excellent and always waited for us right after we finished our sightseeing stops. Overall, everything was perfectly organized, and we highly recommend Cathy for anyone looking for a great guide!

5.00I enjoyed the trip very much and had the most enjoyable times. The tour guide, Kathy, was very helpful and described many landmarks that are difficult for tourists to know if without a guide. I highly recommend booking an imaginative experience with her. She was also very keen to pick me up from the hotel and take me to the train station as planned in advance. We also had an ,amazing peking dyck lunch which was included, as well as a good and clean car ser Thank you. Cathy

5.00Cathy is the best tour guide! We had some rainy weather and we were lucky to find Cathy and did last minute booking with my family. She was able to re-route us to some amazing historical places and wowed us with detailed historical knowledge. Her energy and knowledge really made our day. We enjoyed a world class acrobatic show and really enjoyed our time. Very highly recommended!

5.00We did the forbidden city tour, me, my husband and my mother. It was a very beautiful day and our guide William kuang was perfect. He knew a lot of information, he was a very pleasant company. He took us from the Tiananmen Square, through the forbidden city, passing also in a museum with imperial artefactos and ending up the hill where we could see the forbidden city from above. Perfect day !!

5.00Our Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City private tour was guided by Linda organized by Cathy, very excellent service and translation. Linda explained about the history of the square and the palace. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Private driver is friendly. Teahouse trip was out of schedule, interesting but of course we have to buy! Beware not to be too comfortable after the tea demonstration. We have circus show to conclude our trip. Memorable experience. Thank you Linda and Cathy!

5.00Cathy was great! We really enjoyed our tour at the Lama Temple, Temple of Heaven, tea house and acrobat show. Cathy’s english was very impressive, and she always had great insights on the history at each stop along the way. Cathy was high energy and made us feel very comfortable. We will definitely be calling Cathy for our next trip to Beijing.
