5.00We had the most incredible private tour of Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, and we owe it all to our phenomenal team: driver Chu and tour guide Joe! From the moment we were picked up, everything was seamless. Chu kept us comfortable all day with cold bottled water from a cooler (a lifesaver in the summer heat!), and he navigated the city with calm efficiency. Joe was simply outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and so generous with his time. We asked a LOT of questions throughout the day and he answered every single one with patience, clarity, and insight. His passion for Chinese history and culture came through in every story and detail he shared. The itinerary was efficient but never rushed, we got a deep, personal look at each iconic site without battling the crowds or feeling like we were on a strict schedule. This private tour exceeded every expectation. If you’re considering it, book it. Joe and Chu made it a highlight of our trip to China! Can’t recommend enough!
