Join us for a guided foraging experience, where you’ll walk through the Arctic wilderness with a knowledgeable guide passionate about nature’s hidden treasures, forage seasonal berries or mushrooms while learning about their traditional uses in Lapland. Enjoy handmade snacks and drinks made with seasonal berries or mushrooms prepared by us.

Rovaniemi
As we explore the forest, we’ll identify seasonal berries and mushrooms, learning how to safely recognize edible varieties. Depending on the time of year, we may find juicy bilberries, tart lingonberries, rare cloudberries, aromatic cranberries, crowberries, and wild blueberries. We’ll also look for golden chanterelles, porcini, and other wild mushrooms. Since each has its own season, every outing is a little different throughout the summer and autumn. Our guide will share useful knowledge about traditional uses, nutritional benefits, and preservation methods, offering insight into Lapland’s food traditions. You’ll also receive recipes and preparation tips, so you can bring the taste of Lapland into your own kitchen.
Lapland
With baskets in hand, we’ll collect nature’s offerings while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of Lapland’s forests. During the tour, we’ll pause to enjoy handmade seasonal snacks prepared by us using fresh berries or mushrooms, depending on what nature provides. These will be served with a refreshing berry smoothie or a warm cup of tea. By the end of the tour, you’ll leave with more than just a basket of fresh ingredients—you’ll take home practical skills, local knowledge, and a stronger connection to Lapland’s natural landscape. The best foraging season is from July to early October, with different berries and mushrooms available depending on the time of year.

We had a really great experience. Unlike most all tours we've made, this one is personnaly owned and it is not a company making money on doing dour, it is a passionnate that offers her passion to other via tours. This give an odd, yet pleasent, feeling during the tour. We had a nice time and the place we ate near a lake was relaxing. The homemade blueberry pie was really great as well.
