Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared historical information about both Dallas and Fort Worth. We we're very disappointed that we were unable to see the longhorn run in Fort Worth. We weren't told about this until the day before, due to it being Easter, but our guide was never told about it at all. I told him about it when he mentioned the longhorns when we got to Fort Worth. So I guess the most disappointing part of this was that our guide, Preston, knew less about the actual tour than I did, because he was never notified by his own company. That's truly poor communication. So Preston gets a "5", Viator gets a "3".

Too much time at the stockyards - 2 hours. There are just so many junk stores you can look at. Would have been nice to have less time and to see more of Fort Worth, even if just a drive by. Tour guide was knowledgeable but seemed angry at the world. Of course I was going to tip but at the end when he said tips are appreciated- it’s the American way I was a bit put off. All in all - glad I did it.

Unfortunately, the description of the 75 minute tour from fort Worth is not accurate. I had chatted with viator prior to booking, because the itinerary for the 75-minute tour and the 3-hour tour are the same online. I was told they are the same, except the longer tour from Dallas includes some Dallas highlights, allows for the time driving from Dallas to fort Worth, and a lunch break. The 75-minute tour from fort Worth only had two stops. One at an art museum and one at the water gardens. The description included the stockyards, but the tour does not go there. Tim, our guide, was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history on the tour which was interesting. But if you really want to see fort Worth, don't bother with the 75-minute tour.

We had a wonderful trip with our guide, Orlando, who brought the experience to life with engaging storytelling and thoughtfully chosen music. The drive to Fort Worth was quick, and our first stop was the Water Gardens, where we had plenty of time to explore while Orlando provided an excellent tour. Next, we visited the JFK monument before heading to the Stockyards. After a guided tour, we had about an hour and twenty minutes to explore on our own and watch the cattle drive—brief but impressive. Although we encountered some traffic on the way back, the return trip flew by thanks to Orlando’s informative narration about the state, its history and culture, and a wonderful music playlist, introducing us to Charlie Crockett’s music.
