What To Expect

The Eiserne Steg is a pedestrian bridge over the Main River in Frankfurt between the old town and the district of Sachsenhausen, which has existed since 1868. The first version was replaced in 1912 by a widened and reinforced structure, which was also raised higher.

Florian was absolutely amazing! He went at our pace, hit any spot we really wanted to see and shared SO much history! Had we just walked through Frankfurt on our own it would have been a much lesser experience. If we had more time here, I’d go back to many of the places he showed us to experience them. That would be my only tip: Do this tour in the beginning of your trip so you can go back and enjoy the sights. Highly recommend!!

Our tour guide Annibal did a great job during our walking tour of Frankfurt. He was very knowledgeable and he shared many interesting historic facts. We were experiencing cell phone issues upon our arrival and he went the extra mile to find us at our meeting point even though we weren’t able to communicate.

Last minute cancellation by guide because of light rain Said I would have to reschedule. That was not possible. Said I would need to process a refund through the “office” providing no contact information. Refund provided only with screenshots of the guides conversation with me on Whatssapp.
