Absolute Highlight of Our Honeymoon – A Must-Do in Cape Town! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

5.00We booked the full day with Matt on his Bike & Wine Tour with Bike & Hike as part of our honeymoon, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our time in Stellenbosch. Matt was an incredible guide friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. We were picked up directly from Asara Wine Estate (where we stayed) and dropped back at the end of the day, which made everything so easy. The tour included wine tastings at Rustenberg, Stark-Condé, and Lanzerac, plus a lovely stop for lunch in between. Each estate had its own character and charm, and biking through the stunning Stellenbosch scenery in between made it unforgettable. The electric bikes were brilliant easy to ride and meant we could really enjoy the day without worrying about the hills! This was truly a must do experience if you’re in Cape Town. It made our honeymoon so special, and we can’t recommend Bike & Hike enough. Thank you for giving us memories we’ll never forget! Grant & Sarah

This is a really accessible down to earth tour and our e-bikes meant we hardly exerted ourselves while covering close to 40km and visiting 4 high end wineries. Matt was an excellent tour guide helping us understand some of the flora and fauna too. Highly recommend Matt, wines, Franschhoek and Bike and Hike too!

5.00Today we took a tour with our guide Abie. He guided us through the Franschhoek area on excellent mountain bikes. We had 3 beautiful wine tastings and a great lunch at Estate Mont Rochelle. But especially conversations about today's South Africa and the history of this beautiful country made the tour special. We found a day of cycling through the beautiful surroundings with a local to be very valuable.

5.00We had the most wonderful day exploring by bike. The personalised tour was matched to our liking and the pace as we wanted. Wine-tastings were phenomenal and allowed us as a family to relax and take in the vistas. Lastly we enjoyed a farm to fork meal at Mont Rochelle which was so fresh and delicious. 5.00We did a full day Franschhoek bike and wine tour with Abi, and we had a wonderful time. Biking was a great way to get our legs moving and see the beauty of the town. Abi was an excellent and knowledgable guide and we had so much fun chatting with him and learning about the area and the vineyards. He made it feel very comfortable and personal.

5.00We did the full day private cycle tour in Franschhoek starting in the centre of the town. Our guide Mandla was very knowledgeable and polite and he made the day so much more enjoyable. It was such a boiling hot day (37 degrees) that I struggled in the heat but Mandla was so patient!! We went to 3 vineyards for wine tasting and everyone was so friendly and it was all so well organised that I would definitely recommend.
