What To Expect
We will firstly visit the place of Assassination of duke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie Chotek, that changed the history of the World, with a brief explanation of our staff. A visit to the Latin Bridge and Austro-Hungarian hotel, the 'Hotel Europe'. Furthermore, we will talk about Gavrilo Princip and visit the place he was prisoned, after killing the duke Franz Ferdinand. The last stop will be a VR presentation and movie about the Austro-Hungarian empire, the assassination of Franz Ferdinand and life of Gavrilo Princip. The very first tourist company in Sarajevo dealing with VR technology. WELCOME TO THE PAST!

5.00We did not do a guided tour, we toured this site on our own! This is a really interesting spot in Sarajevo. They display a replica car in which the Archduke and his wife were assassinated. They have concrete footprints showing where the assassin stood when he fired the “Shot Heard Around The World”, and the start of WW1. There is a small museum there that explains how the assassination took place, with a video re-enactment.

5.00Amazing experience! Both as a tourist and a historian I was amazed by the quality of the VR lesson (visual exp. , voice acting, etc.) It was my first time using VR headset so I needed few minutes to accommodate, but after that I enjoyed the ride! P.S. For those interested it lasts cc 11min.
