I went on the heli hike tour with my fiancé and our two friends in August. It was a top highlight of our trip to NZ! Amy, our tour guide was very experienced and made the hike such an enjoyable experience. The helicopter ride, although short, was stunning too! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience and so far the highlight of our New Zealand trip. From the check-in process to our amazing guide Tom to the helicopter ride it was just great. We really appreciated Tom ( our guide ) who went above and beyond by first making sure everyone was safe, working hard to cut out steps with his ice axe making it easy to traverse the terrain, and entertaining us with stories and answering questions. We had a fantastic time hiking through the glacier, seeing the unbeatable views, blue ice, and just the glacier itself. Besides sunglasses, everything else is provided, warm boots, socks, waterproof pants and a jacket. Participant safety was clearly top of mind for everyone, not over the top and very appreciated.
