We are a small group of local guides who live and love Bamberg. We don't have a script that has to be memorized, but rather everyone can add their own personal touches in addition to the main sights in order to give you the most authentic and personal picture of the city possible. In addition to the history and architectural highlights, culture and customs are also part of our city tour.

Welcome to Bamberg, the magical city on the Regnitz! Immerse yourself in the beauty and history of this UNESCO World Heritage city. Stroll through the winding streets of the old town, discover the picturesque Little Venice with its half-timbered houses and idyllic boats. Marvel at the imposing Bamberg Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture. Enjoy a cool smoked beer in the legendary Schlenkerla. Admire the magnificent Old Town Hall, which stands on a bridge over the Regnitz. Bamberg - an unforgettable experience for all the senses!

5.00My girlfriend and I booked this guided tour at short notice a day before. Our guide gave us an informative overview and insight into the history of Bamberg with heart and mind (without slaying us with year numbers 😉). It was entertaining and very interesting! 3.00The place is beautiful, but a bit far from the old city, where you are possibly staying. The chapel is closed almost all day and has a cost to enter when it is open “unless you go after 1800 since at that time the entrance is free.” Watch out for the taxi drivers and Uber, since they will try to charge you a lot for taking you to the castle.If you are afraid of closed places, I do not recommend that you go up to the main tower.

5.00A great guided tour of Bamberg's Old Town with Thomas Pregl. With interesting facts and lots of additional exciting and/or funny background information. From the "quasi" gondolier Luigi in Klein -Venice to the most beautiful man in Bamberg Cathedral.... Thank you so much! And since it was very hot that day, we had plenty of opportunity to taste the delicious Bamberg beer afterwards 😉
