This was a well-paced tour, lots of things happening, but never felt rushed. The chocolate and coffee tour was lively with a small but well-stocked gift store. I brought some home and the chocolates were all really good. The private reserve was very well-run and beautiful. None of it involved technical hiking. Reserve was like a nature walk and the waterfall was about five minutes on wide well-maintained stairs. Highly recommend!

If you only have time for one tour of Costa Rica, this is an excellent one to pick. We had a group of 6 so we had our own private group. From when we were picked up at the hotel to when we were dropped off it was about 7 hours, but in that time we got to see a ton of wildlife (including toucans and monkeys) a lot of the beautiful countryside, a great informational tour on coffee and chocolate, walked in a rainforest and saw sloths, went to a waterfall, and had an awesome lunch! We also learned a ton from our tour guide about Costa Rica in general, he did a great job and cannot recommend more!

Great experience! A lot of driving but worth every minute. Our guide/driver, Nesmel, was amazing putting extra care into our experience. We saw Toucans, sloths, frogs, owls, bats, monkeys and more. The waterfall was awesome! Nice lunch as well.

We booked with Viator and had a confirmation via both email and text. We arrived at our pick up destination and the tour company never showed up and never attempted to contact us. After waiting for a good part of the morning and spending loads of time on calls with both Viator and the tour company, we were told that the tour wouldn't be going out today and that we would receive a refund in a week! Neither Viator or the tour company attempted to contact us to let us know the tour wouldn't not be running and the waste of precious vacation time was very disappointing. Tip: Use Viator to look at different tour options and then call the tour company directly via WhatsApp to book. We did this and were able to book a shorter afternoon tour and will avoid using Viator for the rest of our travels in Costa Rica

We had a great time. I would highly recommend the trip. The waterfall was beautiful, the coffee and chocolate tour was fun and informative, and the sloths were awesome to see up close. All of our guides were very friendly and fun.

This trip covered so many different aspects of Costa Rica. Our guide Nes was fantastic. He was pointing out monkeys before we even left our hotel property (we hadn’t seen them prior), and he even pulled over & picked cashew fruit for us to try. He did a great job explaining the area & history. The tour itself covered so many different aspects & was very comprehensive. The chocolate/coffee tour was so informative. At the nature reserve we saw so many different animals. It was truly amazing to see these creatures in their natural habitat without bars. All the guides did a spectacular job.

The stops, great the driver, not so. He was on his phone, and texting. (A lot, during our travels). I was uncomfortable. Then continued to try to talk on phone. Also doubling the speed. Seemed to be on a different course. The stops guides were top notch.

What a great day! Thank you so much! It was a really good tour, and smaller than the others tours on offer. We were able to get so close to the baby sloth, we could have reached out and brought him home! We weren’t rush at all and because it was just us, our guide could be more flexible. We highly recommend this one!

What an incredible tour! I give the tour 5 stars, but Manuel deserves 10!! I have done a lot of Viator tours, and Manuel has exceeded every one of them. First, he is super knowledgeable on Costa Rica and other topics. If you like history and facts, please request Manuel as your guide. Second, once he learned I had some mobility issues, he looked after me. When we got to the rainforest, he and Angelica pointed out 3 sloths, one that was going down a tree and a baby sleeping down low that we could touch it if we wanted to. With their guidance we saw a toucan, toucanet, frog, violet saber hummingbird, boa constricter, and an eyelash viper. But the most amazing part was that Manuel got us to our ship's tender with 10 minutes to spare before the ship left. Manuel, you rock!!! Thank you for an very unforgettable day!
