Mike our driver and guide was very pleasant and informative. Giethoorn was beautiful and the canal tour that was included was great. The boat captain was fun.
Highly recommended tour with Mike. Good value tour.

We were glad we went on this tour despite many telling us it is too far and touristy and crowded. Mike drove us there in 1 hour 20 minutes from nord station. The pickup point was very easy to get to via Metro and the venue was not crowded so it was easy to locate Mike in his orange jacket and the coach. Upon reaching Giethoorn, it was a very short walk to the canal . We visited a cheese shop first because we arrived early. This was followed by a 1 hour canal boat ride. The place was quiet and peaceful as the crowd has not arrived. That allowed us to appreciate giethoorn . Mike’s timing was perfect and well chosen. After the boat ride, we had more than 2 hours to wonder around on our own. Time given was ample. Mike also shared with us his personal knowledge on tulips farming, bulbs harvesting and bulb exports business. It was very interesting. We highly recommend this tour with Mike. He is friendly and knowledgeable.

We had the opportunity to visit working windmills enroute to Geithorn which was an added plus. Mike, our guide, was superb! He was very engaging and very knowledgeable...as a local of the area he was able to add insights on a detailed level many guides would not have been able to add. The lunch he arranged for us was just perfect, the canal boat ride was delightful, and his commentary throughout the trip added value. All in all, I would recommend the tour especially with Mike as the guide.
