I really did enjoy Guatemala as a whole, but this experience was a lot. I think that some things couldve been communicated a little better, and the itinerary and driving time shouldve been made known before the trip. The pickup arrangements were changed the night before, and I understand why that happened, but giving less than a 24 hour notice was unprofessional. I was not expecting to be in a car for nearly 5 hours to get to our destination. We didn't even get to go to all of the stops, we made it to 2. It wasn't all bad, but I really didn't like the way things were communicated.

Amazing trip!! My friends and I had unique, interesting chocolate, amazing views from the major towns around the lake, access to traditional clothes to buy, and on top of this, our tour guide Kevin is a BASED GUATEMALAN CHAD. He made the experience always, always educating us on Mayan traditions, as well as spreading his basedness to everyone with amazing professionalism. English: Amazing trip!! Brenda and Kevin, our guides, were very knowledgeable about the area we toured. We booked the public tour which was a group of about 12. It was a great experience.

Overall amazing experience for the price. Our guides Kevin and Brenda were very knowledgeable and helpful. Big kudos to them! The logistics and transportation could have been better though, that’s why I put 4 stars and not 5.
