This was our second tour with Trace, he makes the experience fun and interesting. He knows his stuff! It was a really nice tasting tour. Both tasting rooms offered a good variety of wines and are reasonably priced. We enjoyed each location. I was not impressed with the food at Salt Lick, it was average but the service was good. I would do it again.

This was such a great way to see a small part of the Texas Hill Country while in Austin. The Salt Lick BBQ was delicious. The two wineries were really great. I know Texas wineries don’t get much respect, but both of these are award winning and well worth the cost of the tour! Will definitely be buying their wines in the future. BUT, our tour guide, Connor (aka Driver Dude) was amazing! He had us laughing and completely entertained from start to finish! My sisters and I would take the tour again just for the fun ride! Take this tour…you won’t be disappointed!

The Hill Country BBQ and Wine Shuttle was a fantastic tour. We were a small group of 10 people and traveled in a very comfortable van. Our tour guide was Jax. She was lots of fun and made the tour a very memorable experience for all of us. The food was delicious. I did not participate in the wine sampling, but those who did, said the wines were exquisite. This was my second tour with this company and I will take more tours with them, whenever I return to Austin. I highly recommend them.
