This was the highlight of our vacation. The beauty of this hike could not be understated. The waterfalls are truly beautiful and the trails throughout are really pretty from start to finish. Andy was a great guide and a friendly host for the day, providing plenty of laughs throughout. He also helped to pace us well to ensure everyone was able to feel comfortable. Could not recommend this more!

  • Spectacular walk to see waterfalls

After about an hour drive from Cardiff, we set off on a lovely walk in the woods with our guides. We took a circular route. The first 3-4 miles were my favourite, bringing us through lush woodland and to a number of spectacular waterfalls. The next 3 or so miles were not as interesting as we walked along a roadway. Fortunately it was not well travelled by vehicles. The final 3 miles we were back in the woods again. The walking was harder going with ascents and descents but very pleasant. During this time we viewed and walked behind the most amazing waterfall! It’s a good idea to wear hiking boots and to bring a sandwich along for lunch. All and all a very enjoyable day and one that I will remember for a long time.

I was going purely to see the waterfalls which were absolutely breathtaking But an added bonus was the expertise of both Andy and Kate who constantly made sure that everyone were made to feel at ease and both the passion and knowledge they had about the area and the continued conservation of it where Breath of fresh air. Can't wait to book for my next adventure

  • Superb route through Brecon Beacons

Magnificent circular route of 15 km, 400 meters of accumulated slope, with a tour of the natural beauties of the Brecon Beacons. Guides Kate and Andy provide all the geographical, historical and cultural context information. The path is good and comfortable on all sections, with little slope except at specific points. However, due to its length, a certain walking habit and minimal physical fitness are required.

It is hectic but very satisfying. The park is beautiful and the guides, Kate and Andy were excellent. Their 2 dogs were the icing on the cake.

Andy and K are are the perfect guides. They are both knowledgeable about the local area and take time to ensure that every member of the group is included in the conversation and activities. An incredible setting and a brilliant day out, well worth it. Some of the terrain is tricky so make sure you have sensible footwear and if the weather is being kind and time allows bring a change of clothing for a dip in the pool under the waterfalls!

  • Beautiful, awesome experience

I wanted to get into hiking but was worried about going off on my own so opted for this guided hike and I’m extremely happy I did! Andy was the guide, was very knowledgable and patient with the group. You’ll have no worries of being rushed or frowned upon if you’re at the back. There’s a few hilly bits but they’re ok, you can take your time. This hike is a totally awesome, chilled experience. Nothing like clean air and listening to the water crashing to cleanse the soul. I was really happy.

Andy, Kate and the dogs were brilliant guides - and Andy's generosity with his knowledge meant that we all came away with a much deeper understanding of the ecological side of South Wales.
