Badanj - prehistoric cave site featuring some of the earliest known rock art in the Balkans. Travelers will explore the archaeological context of early human symbolic expression in Herzegovina and learn how these engravings represent some of the oldest traces of art in the region.
An ancient Illyrian hilltop city featuring massive megalithic walls and the archaeological remains of Daorson, one of the most important pre-Roman settlements in the region. Travelers will explore the site and learn about its connections to Greek and Roman civilizations. At the Daorson archaeological complex, travelers will also discover a lesser-known feature known locally as the “judicial chairs” in Ošanići — two carved stone seats interpreted as part of the site’s social and symbolic landscape.
