First, you need more stars for our amazing S. African guide Alexa, who works for a local agency, Maresia. Alexa was not only a fun, energetic and very knowledgeable young woman, she also had an incredible of expert photography. She mentioned attending the university in Environmental Studies so she had a great insight into the local nature. We learned a lot about the Flåm area from her as well as lots of Viking history. On our ride back to our cruise ship, we rode through the longest tunnel of 29 kms, truly “inside” Norway. To top this magical tour, Alexa added the two most famous tunes of Norway’s son, composer Edvard Grieg. Riding in Norway at the sounds of Morning Mood was brilliant and it will forever stay in my heart. Thank you Alexa (the human Alexa!)🇿🇦👸🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The guide never showed up. We waited for 45 minutes and then left to do something else. Very disappointed!!!

Just finished our tour of Flam and so far, the best tour we have taken here in Norway. The sights were amazing but, this is mostly due to the very passionate, articulate, knowledgeable, engaging guide, Alexa. She made this section of Norway come to life for us. She added her knowledge of nature, ecology and even classical music, playing excerpts of Grieg as we returned to Flam. Absolutely wonderful excursion!

Incredible mix of activities. A bit of sight seeing, a bt of history, a bit of nature. It's just enough time to not feel rushed without feeling like you used a whole day. Beautiful way to spend our day and be back for supper.

Loved the old Stave church and the beautiful scenery. Also liked walking down the side of the falls.
