5.00Beautiful walk to a very cute farm! Staff was kind and knowledgeable on the local history. Three course meal was wonderful. If you don't make the tasting they have a food trailer with beverages and snacks! Carrot cake with local honey and orange drizzle was wonderful!

5.00This activity was well worth it. Alex prepared 3 dishes for us — a sampler board, stew, and carrot cake. The cheeses and meats were locally produced and so delicious. The stew (sadly I did not take a picture) had a hearty turnip and potato base and smoked meat — very filling! The carrot cake was delicious. Alex also gave history about the local foods and how brown cheese was invented nearby. Great way to spend an hour! Plus the grounds are beautifully landscaped and there are farm animals to look at!

5.00We stopped here for the 10:00AM three course tasting. We were the only ones there for this early sitting. We enjoyed the food and the conversation with the host. We learned about Norwegian farming and enjoyed the local fare. Walking around the small hillside farm was a treat and view of the fjord was beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something off the beaten path and for people who enjoy trying foods you might not have had in the past.

5.00This was a historic farm that was recently brought back to life. There are chickens, goats, pigs and sheep to pet and feed. There are apple and pear trees everywhere and lovely flower gardens. The buildings are historic, early 20th century. We did the tasting tour which was a wonderful traditional taste of authentic Norwegian farm fare, all ingredients are produced locally and are farm fresh. Wonderful history of the area and why they made the food choices they did. Highly recommend. Staff is great and tour is very personal.

5.00Fantastic farm tour! We got to pet the goats, feed the pigs and sheep and see the beautiful farm property which is perfectly situated to look down the fjord. The tasting menu was unbelievable with 3 courses. The first was a platter with venison, herring and 2 types of goat cheese paired with their own cider; the second was a hearty stew with lamb, carrots & turnips; and the dessert was an amazing carrot cake with goat cheese topping. Great tour and tasting!!

5.00Tasting plate of Norwegian food. Quick 3 course tasting lunch. Lovely rustic atmosphere. Smoked meats and cheeses. Fresh vegetable soup of Norway. Nice desert. Using some of local produced herbs and fruit and vegetables.

Expectations were not disappointed, the tasting of three courses all excellent, accompanied by an excellent fresh apple juice and a top American coffee. Also excellent cider and beer offered by the outdoor food track. Highly recommended

5.00Outstanding. We've done the Skylift and mini fjord cruise. Not only was the Farm food tasting experience by far the cheapest, it is also the one we enjoyed the most. Our host Alex was very friendly and extremely accommodating. We had a little tour of the farm, history of the area and then the food itself. I was sceptical that the food would be really weird (pickled smelly things), but shouldn't of worried. Local cheese and meats, fish - all were very tasty and enjoyable. Highly recommend doing this. Kids and adults will love the farm: mini pigs, goats, cows, sheep.

5.00This was such an amazing experience. Great information about the building up of the farm to opened my day and where all the food is sourced locally. I would highly recommend going to the farm and experience the experience. Dana was suburb. Loved the little four week old piglets.
