Such a great day trip, we would highly recommend Stewart's as a tour company from Glasgow. We had Caitlin as our guide who was fantastic, she knew so much about the history and local area geographically and delivered it all in a really fun way. We got to see so much of the Highlands in a short amount of time!

My friend and I took this tour while visiting Glascow. Our guide, Stewart, aka Fergie, was such a gentleman and very knowledgeable. The itinerary was accurate and we experienced everything we had hoped, including meeting the highland cows. The scenery was breathtaking and van was comfortable. We took plenty of pictures. I definitely would recommend this excursion, tour company and guide

I had an absolutely amazing day tour with Caitlin — honestly one of the highlights of my entire trip! From the very beginning she was warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. She shared so many interesting stories and local insights that you would never get traveling on your own, and she made every stop feel special and meaningful. The pace of the day was perfect — relaxed but full of great experiences — and Caitlin went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and included. You can really tell she’s passionate about what she does, and her energy made the whole group feel excited and engaged the entire time. Everything was seamless, fun, and genuinely memorable. If you’re thinking about booking a tour with Caitlin, don’t hesitate — you’ll be in fantastic hands and you’ll probably leave the day with new favorite memories (and lots of great photos too!). Highly, highly recommended!

She always explained everything with a lot of humor which make the experience so funny! She always gave us time to visit the stops. For sure we totally recommend to do this tour with Stewart Tours and if possible with Caitlin!

We had the best day!! Our tour guide, Stewart (Fergie) was absolutely amazing!! He shared so much fascinating information about the places we visited - including loads history and geography facts, as well as information about the filming locationd of Harry Potter, Skyfall and Outlander. We visited the village of Luss, Loch Lomind, the Three Sisters, Ben Nevis, Loch Ness, Fort Augustus, Pitlorchy… and on the way back he even made a special stop where we could see and FEED the Highland cows, which was the perfect way to end the day. We had the best day exploring the Highlands and Stewart made it such a nice experience. Plus it was just me and my mum on that day taking the tour and it still went ahead, which we really appreciated. It made the experience feel very special and it was truly such a lovely, unforgettable day.

Caitlyn was the absolute best guide! She is equal parts brilliant and funny! She also had the best recommendations for things to do during the rest of our trip to Glasgow. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking to explore the Scottish highlands!

Me and my partner booked for the from Glasgow: Glenfinnan Viaduct & The Highlands Day Trip on 5th January 2025 with Stuart. The trip was great, Stuart was friendly, informative and always up for a good chat stopping at all the picturesque places! Seeing Loch Lomond Glencoe, three Sisters Glenfinnan Viaduct and through Fort William in snow was just amazing! While also stopping at Fort William for lunch too! The day started at 7:15am from Glasglow and we arrived back 6pm. An amazing day trip and fab tour guide. We throughly enjoyed our time and would recommend anyone this trip! From your friends from Wales. Thank you Stuart :)

We did the Loch Ness and the highlands day trip tour with Stewart Sawers today and had an incredible time. It actually seemed surreal how picturesque it was at some points. I would 1000% reccomend this trip to anyone wanting to check out the highlands, also to request Stewart Sawers as your guide. The real bonus was we were the only ones that booked this tour today and that made us able to stop at extra stops along the route - as we were 2 people not 16 getting off the bus. BONUS! Stewart is extremely knowledgeable on not only the landmarks but the history to go along with them (+more) as he has been doing tours in this area for quite some time. We were able to get off the bus and do the boat tour of Loch Ness which I also suggest to partake in, if you decide not too Fort Augustus is a nice quaint town to check out. One thing I was worried about before the journey was bathroom stops but they were ample and conveniently located. Finished off our tour with seeing some highland cows up close and personal. Would not change this last minute trip decision for the world I’ll never forget it. Thanks so much Stewart !! You’re one of a kind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Our guide Stewart Sawers was quite informative and friendly. He allowed for plenty of photo ops and gave us plenty of time at each location. The only thing to note is that the van seats are quite narrow, so not the most comfortable for a cross-country trip, but they weren't unbearable. 100% will use this company again
