  • A successful day of sightseeing in Tunis with many highlights and a great guide.

Our German speaking guide Achmet and our driver were punctual, very friendly and service oriented. Our private tour of Tunis including short tour of the very worth seeing Bardo Museum, the remains of Carthage (Byrsa Hill, Punic cemetery Tophet, ancient port, aqueduct, Roman thermal baths etc.), Sidi Bou Said was very informative and varied and highly recommended. Achmet was able to contribute a lot of information about the country, people and historical background and he was always noted for the joy and warmth in his work. A short and very tasty lunch in Sidi Bou Said was included in the program. Due to Ramadan, the visit of the Medina of Tunis was unfortunately very limited, but additional time could be used for the interesting historical sites of Carthage, which was also very much in our interest. All in all, a very nice tour with an accomplished and very friendly guide Achmet, who will stay with us fondly.

Cancelled the group tour after 9pm the night before. I then booked the super expensive £170 for one person since I only have today to see Carthage etc and the tour didn’t show. This company just causes a lot of problems and precious time since I will be wasting a day and likely to never see Carthage now. Today was the only day I had to see it.

We did this tour as a driver only tour. We did it based on some of the other reviews which indicated that the driver would provide some insights into the sights being seen etc. However, our driver didn't really speak English and didn't speak to us at all. Whilst we got what we paid for ie a driver, he didn't offer any insights into what we were seeing, he didn't offer up any knowledge about the country or its culture or its history and wasn't able to answer any questions. Whilst we got what we asked for ie a driver, you need to understand that that is what you can get especially when they don't speak much English

Larby (driver) & Khaled (guide) were amazing, so friendly, fun & knowledgable. Easy pick up, lovely clean ACon car. Khaled was brilliant in the Bardo Museum, giving us a very personal guide, showing us pieces, giving history & telling amazing stories! Very funny too, he has excellent language skills. He was very helpful in the Medina & at Sidi Bou Said, getting us good deals with local dealers. He was able to take us to the local markets also, both fellas going out of their way to show us fantastic local life. Highly recommend and hope you are lucky enough to get these 2 fabulous gentlemen!

Camil was an excellent guide . We saw all the sites and as a private tour he was able to add in some sites such as the amphitheater and tophets in Carthage. He gave us a fabulous background and knowledge of everything and included some history of Tunisia in to the bargain. The driver Shohab was careful and considerate at all times. Would thoroughly recommend as in informative and considerate at all times

A great VIP trip with knowledgeable and intelligent guide Khaled. We started with a visit to the Bardo museum where Khaled was expert at explaining the meaning behind an array of frankly stunning mosaics and the coffee kitchen . The visit to the Medina was simply fabulous as Khaled explained the language of the differently coloured and decorated doors and their interaction with different beliefs. We also experienced the hubbub of the markets including the fish market which was a feast for all the senses. After lunch Carthage, including the baths and a visit to the beautiful village of Sidi Bou Said. Overall a thoughtfully guided day, very eye opening and memorable with Khaled and safe, kind driver Shehab.

The trip itself was excellent shown around by car. Medina, Carthage excellent meal but the previous day or 2. Was trying to find out about it, particularly pick. Up point. This could be sorted by responding to text messages. The problem was we were in an air B&b and pick up was said to be hotels however when we enquired to local hotels they did not know anything

  • A Busy but Informative Day

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our private tour. We were collected promptly at 9am as advertised from the hotel lobby and were well looked after by the guide and driver all day. We first visited Carthage, which was great to see. Our guide gave us a good amount of information and then left us some time to have a look around for ourselves. We then went to Sidi Bou Said, which was a picturesque place with lots of great photo opportunities. This was followed by a guided tour through the medina of Tunis- which was just as well as it would be very easy to get lost here! The day was finished with a guided tour of the Bardo museum. Although it was very interesting to here all the information and be shown around for the hour, it felt a little rushed as it’s such a vast museum and we would have maybe liked a little time just to process everything and have a look around on our own. Overall, a well planned day with attentive guide and careful driver.
