Full day with a sampling of different aspects of Tunis from ancient history through mediaeval markets to a charming coastal village. Guide fluent in many languages and very knowledgeable about the places we visited.

  • Catastrophic for the reputation of tourism in Tunisia!

Thinking about choosing the quality of a service through TripAdvisor and after reading the positive reviews, we chose this tour. Deplorable, catastrophic and truly an acceptable the lack of professionalism and the way we were treated. How is it possible that the reviews are so positive? Any doubt about the provider who took us over? Unacceptable and a shame for Tunisia's image.

  • Scandalous and unacceptable service!!!

We didn’t even make half the trip paid in full with guide...that is, driver, meals and visits. Was the guide really a guide??? He dropped us off at about 12:00 in Sidi bou said, then returning to the vehicle that was a rental vehicle, he told us he forgot to have us sign the rental contract with passport number and signature. Problem is, we had to sign off on the so-called second driver of the vehicle? Finding it strange we refused, the guide verbally assaulted us and asked to get out of the vehicle in a very aggressive tone. After this verbal altercation we returned to our hotel located 80km away on our own and our last day of vacation which we thought we had a great experience was ruined and ultimately cost us much more for doing nothing. We have just made a claim on tripadvisor and requested a refund of this inadmissible benefit. We expect a return from them. First booking on tripadvisor and probably the last one if we do not have a satisfactory return. We find it scandalous to have experienced this situation.

The tour guide, Kamel, is very knowledgeable and friendly. His knowledge about Tunisia is above and beyond. We recommend this tour operator with Kamel's guidance.

We had an excellent day out the sites that we visited were very interesting and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The driver was great too and I would definitely recommend the day trick.

  • Disappointing, superficial info and not what we paid for

We did not get to see several of the destinations listed, for example the bardo museum and the aqueduct. The museum was apparently closed which the guide forgot. The aqueduct we asked several times to see and were promised that it was included (both of these destinations were included according to the description of the trip) but we never got to see it. The guide was kind but hard to understand. English can develop as well as knowledge of the places we visited, mainly in Carthage. We didn't understand everything he said but felt the information was superficial and more contemporary than historical. When we visited the ancient amphitheatre in Carthage we were told that there were barbecue bars there and that mickel jackson played there. Nothing about theatre and gladiatorial games in ancient times. Parts of the tour the guide stopped at one place and asked us to walk around and look. We did not get so rich info about artifacts, ancient life, culture, warfare etc which we expected. We saw how other guides gave more detailed and descriptive info to their groups. We had seen some movies before about Carthage, about 30 minutes in total and it was lucky. That way I could give the kids some info myself when we walked around. The guide was kind and well-meaning, but he upset both our teenagers, girl and guy, with his view of women. It was an interesting lesson this day. The visit to the village with the white and blue houses was very cozy.

Nice tour that allows you to visit in a single day several typical places. Unfortunately the driver spoke neither English nor Italian so we managed a bit with my school French to understand timetables and meeting points. Perhaps in Carthage I would recommend a guided tour so that you can understand what you see because seen so enhances it. We left at 9 from hammamet but I do not recommend it because only of travel are over 2 hours (round trip), leaving at 7 you have more time to enjoy the day

  • A beautiful busy day

We drove with Bouhadid and a driver. Both were very friendly and helpful. We drove the amphitheatre, the theatre and the Roman baths and learned a lot of interesting facts without having to listen to hours of monologues. We continued to Sidi Bou Said, where we ate in a quaint, small Tunisian restaurant. Yes, there were many other drivers with their guests, but it didn’t matter. Since I'm not so good on foot, the ride was adjusted a bit and we went up by car and from there back through the village. So we still got a great impression. The obligatory stop for shopping was of course also there. We have learned a lot again, especially how to distinguish the shred from the real mosaics. We also shopped, traded and still paid too much. But that's because we wanted to, not because we had to. Since we made the trip at our pace and according to our wishes we had no time for the medina and the museum. That didn't matter to us, however, that what we saw we liked very much and we could enjoy it. If you want to do everything, it's very sporty. Conclusion: Absolutely money well spent and worlds better than a group size, where you always have to follow everyone else.
