Get the best chance to encounter moose and other wildlife in their natural habitats. Enjoy a light campfire dinner in a pristine forest, as we guide you through the most promising areas for sightings.
Our tour begins with a short drive deep into Finnish nature. Upon arrival, we’ll start with a traditional Finnish campfire experience surrounded by nature’s calm. Enjoy homemade mixed berry juice and authentic Finnish campfire snacks as your knowledgeable guide shares fascinating stories and facts about the animals that call this region home.
Afterward - when wildlife is at its most active, we’ll drive through the area’s hidden hotspots, stopping frequently to increase our chances of spotting moose up close. With high-quality binoculars provided, you won’t miss a moment of the action.
Please note that while sightings are likely and the area is rich in wildlife, encounters with moose can never be guaranteed, as they roam freely in their natural environment.

It was a fantastic experience! Patricia, our guide, was professional, kind, and very helpful. During dinner, she gave us a preview of what we’d be doing later and explained a lot about moose and their behavior. The tour consists of two parts: the first involves setting up the campfire and enjoying a dinner of traditional Finnish food, which was absolutely delicious. The second part is wildlife viewing at various spots in Porkkala. We saw many beautiful roe deer along the way, but seeing the moose was a truly unique experience. We spotted several of them, and the fiery red sunset created a scene straight out of a fairy tale. To me this tour is absolutely recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Patricia. She is a very professional tour guide. It was a great tour to see Finnish natural environment without a long drive, and we found sighting the wild moose and deer so exciting. We have a beautiful lifelong memory. It was a small group of 8 on the tour plus Patricia. Highly recommend this unique experience.

Excellent tour guide and great entertainment and information. Worth the time and great to see the moose up close but not to close. Great guide who was professional and an excellent host.

What an amazing experience. The tour was a last minute booking - booked two days before event. I was travelling solo and became part of a group of 5 plus guide. The meeting location was super easy to find and the vehicle was comfortable. It took about 50mins - 1hour to reach the campfire site. Once there, our guide "Szabi" was outstanding at providing local knowledge and what we could expect. He cooked us a beautiful campfire dinner of local specialties and allowed us free time to explore the wonderous wilderness that is Finland before we gathered to go moose hunting. It wasn't long before we saw our first moose and this was to be one of 8 that we saw. We were given ample time to watch and photograph and Szabi did all he could to enable us to get excellent photos. We also saw White Tailed Deer, a hare, an Owl but the main event of Moose was the highlight. Szabi was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions. He went above and beyond and provided us with binoculars, a heat sensing monocular and even a telescope so that we could see as much as possible but nothing beat seeing the moose up close with our own eyes. It was super easy to photograph the moose with just an iPhone. I found this tour to be well worth the money paid and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 hour moose safari and campfire experience. Finding the pickup point was easy. There was a minibus waiting and we were greeted by our guide, Tony, and the other guests. Tony drove us out of Helsinki to a beautiful peninsula and we stopped near the water’s edge in a wooded and rocky area with superb views over the water - all very peaceful. Tony was keen to tell us about Finland, Helsinki and wildlife and to make our experience fun. He let us all have a go with a saw and axe to get wood ready for the fire and he then heated up some Finnish snacks for us over the fire which we ate with some berry juice at a large picnic table. We set off again in the minibus and enjoyed trying to spot moose. We stopped a few times to get out of the bus and also saw some moose close up with the window down. There were binoculars for everyone to borrow. We saw 8 moose in total as well as many white-tailed deer, a few hares, some cranes and herons. Thank you very much Tony for making the wildlife experience so enjoyable!

Perfect trip out to the forest for food, moose, deer and other critters! While waiting for dinner, we could explore and take in the ocean views.

I live in Finland and love visiting different places and seeing local animals, but it can be difficult to find places with moose on your own, so I was happy to find this tour. We had three guides, all very friendly. The program was well organized. The location is very beautiful and peaceful! We had a light dinner, and everything was delicious in nature! Then we went looking for moose. We saw 5-6 moose and many deer, a few hares, and a crane. The guides provide binoculars and a telescope in case the moose are far away. For photographers: I recommend taking fast lenses, as moose come out at dusk. Unfortunately I didn't have like this but it didn't spoil my experience. Szabi knows the best places to find moose and will definitely find them for you😊 The trip started at 6 pm and we returned to Helsinki around 11:30 pm. I highly recommend this trip for anyone who loves nature and wildlife. I might do this trip again in midsummer😊 Thanks to the whole team!
