Fantastic afternoon travelling through the beautiful autumn colours from Ljubljana to Piran on the coast. Luka was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. Highly recommend.

The Piran Half Day tour was exactly what we were looking for. Our driver and guide, Mat, was fabulous. He was funny and very knowledgeable. My partner and I enjoyed eating al fresco during the sunset, buying local salt and olive oil products, and exploring the beautiful views. A perfect afternoon activity from Ljubljana.

Interesting information about the geography, history and economy of Slovenia on the way from Ljubliana to Piran. We had a good guided tour of Piran. The travel companion was very friendly and competent.

City to see absolutely! The half day formula is perfect - we had time to eat fresh fish and get lost in the streets without finding the long time!

Disappointing driver whose English was difficult to understand and only wore his mic when we complained. Told us what we’d see but only caught fleeting glimpses as we sped past on the trip down. Had almost 2 hours in Piran with some interesting things to investigate. Driver did stop at 2 interesting spots o way back after we complained. Expensive for what we received.

I was on the 24th, a Tuesday. The visit went very well. The guide indicated interesting points to visit and I went there, appreciated the view and took a lot of photos. It was just a pity not to bring bathing clothes, because the water was good. He could have done some dives in the gravel-free zone, where there were stairs directly into the water, like in the pools. If I ever get back there, I have to do it. The other tourists were two couples and didn't want to interact with anyone. The guide was curious how I learned about Slovenia. It was in 1998, when I saw on the map where was the country of Zahovic, who at that time played at FC Porto. Of course I could only go much later, but now I went to find out why this country is more developed than mine. And I think I did. The city of Piran is more the idea I had of something similar to Italy, because it belonged to the Republic of Venice in ancient times. It also has some similarities with Portugal. :) In general I don't research much before, I like to go without spoilers to the place and listen to what the guides say.
