What To Expect
Welcome aboard our incredible Hawaiian catamaran sailboat Winona. You are in for a treat as you experience the excitement of whale watching. Each year, from December through March, hundreds of migrating humpback whales journey from chilly Alaska to the warm waters of Maui to breed and give birth. Our guests can get a close-up view of the majestic marine mammals on this tour. These whales play, breach, and interact in their natural environment, and our crew provides insights into their behavior and biology. Hear their soulful songs through our underwater hydrophones while enjoying the perfect view of West Maui's mountains, Molokai, and Lanai, while you lounge on our decks or main floor. Infants and kids ages 0-5 come for free parents must call the office to confirm.

5.00Did whale watching from zodiac. Only had 4 of us. Good ride saw some tails and blows. Then at the end eased up on a few that surfaced and played around for about 15 min. Got great pics and video we're less then 50yds. Great day very friendly.

4.00Things we liked: +The number of whales we came across! - we really lucked out that day and even caught a few jumps and fin slaps from off in the distance +The microphone they lower into the ocean -Listening to the whales singing was amazing! +The option to sit out front on the catamaran nets -you get splashed but the front row view is worth it! +The bag of chips and the drinks they provide -The mai tais were actually really good. +The registration team we spoke to prior to the trip - they were very personable and easy to get a hold of, and they sent over very thorough info on what our group would need Things we didn't like as much: -while the registration team was wonderful, the actual crew on the boat seemed just a little cranky and unwelcoming at first. You almost felt like a school kid that was already in trouble as you entered ;) Once past all of that, it was overall a great experience that we'd recommend taking!

5.00We are so happy we chose this tour! The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Because whales are harder to find in April we had a fun party of 12! There is a cute Tiki bar with every beverage you could want, fresh fruit and snacks. But the best part is that we saw and heard whales!! We saw their flukes, fin flapping, and one even breached!! It was one of the best days we had in Hawaii.

5.00We had the best time with the crew! Shelby, Carl, Captain (his name is escaping me at the moment... but he was great!). We a lot of whales (more than we expected to see for being towards the end of the season. The snacks and drinks were great and there was plenty to go around. I highly recommend booking this adventure!

5.00I’m still blown away by just what we saw on this trip. Several whales came very close to the boat and swam under it. Saw one whale launch out the sea and several whales slapping their tales in the sea and surfacing. Truely a wonderful experience that will last a lifetime. The crew were first class. Really looked after us well and kept us hydrated with drinks and fruit/snacks that were included in the price. You MUST do this tour. It could not have been any better. Thanks you guys.
