Our guide Kevin was very friendly and dedicated to explaining everything to my non-Spanish speaking dad, doing double duty. It accommodated us and maintained organization and at the same time fun while taking us everywhere. He knows a lot about indigenous history and is Mayan himself so it was a very representative experience. I highly recommend this tur and think it is cheaper than other options too!

The two towns were beautiful, but the tour was pretty disorganized. The lake was not particularly choppy but the three boat rides were extremely bumpy--felt slammed around a lot. If you have ANY sort of neck or back problems, do not attempt this tour. I think the boat captain could have driven slower to make the ride a bit less jarring, but did not ever check in with passengers. Wouldn't do this one again.

I can highly recommend this tour. From the moment the tour guide picked us up at our hotel in Lake Atitlán until the end of the day, the service was excellent. The guide was very professional and spoke English fluently, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and we received a reconfirmation the day before the tour. The boat was on time, and only the people who booked the tour were on board, which made the experience more comfortable and personalized. At pickup, the guide already had all the information and only asked for our first and last names. One of the nicest parts of the experience was my first-ever ride in a tuk-tuk, which was arranged by the tour guide—fun and well coordinated.

Fantastic experience and very thoughtful. Kevin was a great guide and took his time explaining in both english and Spanish since we had a bilingual group. The tour was fantastic and he was very knowledgeable. He was also transparent about prices and what is included and not included. One of the best experiences my father and I had in the country!

Great day when you don’t have too much time to see Lake Atitlan and 2 of the most important cities around. The 2 excursions around cocoa and fabric making were interesting and the guide Kevin was very attentive and spoke very good English (well perfectly understandable for a French 😉). I recommend

We were able to see two cities surround the lake during the tour. Kevin was great at explaining all the different sites in the cities and the views alone are worth it. I will say the boat ride can be a bit rough so be prepared but this was a tour.

Brenda was an amazing guide: attentive, funny and extremely patient. Super recommended experience in general, and Brenda in particular.

My family and I truly enjoyed this tour! The guide was very informative, and the team accommodated us perfectly from pick-up to drop-off. We loved learning about the culture of Guatemala and experiencing it firsthand. Our kids (6 and 8) especially enjoyed the hands-on activity and the boat ride. Highly recommend this tour for families—it’s both educational and fun!
