Very disappointing destination.

May 4th,2026 visit to Lunenburg was a BIG disappointment. Very few restaurants were open, couldn't find any lobster meals anywhere, NO public washrooms available anywhere. Trying to navigate downtown streets with big pick up trucks angerily tailgating tourists was annoying and stressful. They seemed impatient and angry with tourist drivers. Really nothing of interest to see, but biggest complaint was the lack of eating options anywhere, particularly when I was planning on having a nice lobster dinner/lunch in this town. I will not be back, nor would I recomend this "overly hyped touristy location".
Great trip to Monet’s Enchanted Gardens with our wonderful guide Agness. She was the best. We had a wonderful time.

Agness was amazing! Really took her time to share her knowledge. From pick up to drop off she was the best. Even made reservations for lunch for us.

Agnes was a wonderful tour guide full of facts about Monet and his life which made our experience much better than it would have been had we gone there on our own. Not only was she knowledgeable she had a delightful personality and did everything she could to make our visit enjoyable and comfortable. The transport was also comfortable as well.

My family and I had the loveliest day trip to Giverny for Monet’s garden/house tour. The tour was led by the fabulous Steve and his incredible wealth of knowledge of all things Monet! If you get the chance it’s well worth the trip!
