Lots of walking. Take a water bottle with you. If it was crowded in May, I wouldn’t go in July or August.

Even though the wrong address was on the meeting place, I found it by walking around. The bus was real nice and the entrance to the Palace went efficient and easy. The guide “B”, she said to call her was knowledgeable and very nice. Took us right to the entrance and made sure we knew where to be picked up.

Nothing provided but the bus ride to Versailles and the tickets, but that is as advertised. The ride was comfortable and on time.

Great way to get to Versailles. Would recommend renting an audio tour from the Palace, as the app from the tour operator was very amateur. The points of interest were not numbered on the map so was very awkward to use.

Versailles is amazing! It shows the grandeur of the Royals with the 100s of paintings and portraits. The gardens are spectacular. I do believe we could have easily done the tour without purchasing the “guide”. This tour is basically an expensive bus ride (which was late) to/from. That being said, arrive at opening time for tix or purchase in advance. It gets quite busy after that!

The Paris-Versailles trip went well. The organisers had booked tickets for 11.30am when we arrived before 11am and queued up, standing in the courtyard in the rain waiting for the time. We had booked audio guides and we were 2 adults and 4 children. I hear there are audio guides for children but we have not been offered them. If you visit listening to the audio guide's comments, the tour lasts three hours and we had to reach the bus back at 3:45 pm. So we didn't have time to visit the gardens even though we had paid the garden ticket great waters. For the price paid we were not even entitled to visit the Trianon. The driver was impatient to leave and we returned to Paris before the announced time. We opted for this solution because with the four children aged 9 to 12, we thought it would be more convenient but we regretted our choice. We would have been better off buying our passport tickets and taking public transportation to get to the scene, it would have saved us money and we would have been free to visit as we please, as long as we wanted
