Our kids that are 15-23 years old said that was the best part of the entire trip! Wasn’t super expensive, but lots of fun for our group of 6.

This trip was amazing! I highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Darwin, was incredible. He was knowledgeable about the history of the Dominican and Haiti and even asked questions about the history of our country. The Redonda mountain has a beautiful view that overlooks the island with swings and hammocks. The lunch that was provided was delicious and I'm happy that we got to experience a more traditional Domician dish. The ride up the mountain is really bumpy and I would not recommend an infant ride along. It was a little hard to hang hold onto my bag much less a child. Esmerelda Beach was breathtaking. The water was perfect and it reminded me more of the waters at the Virgin islands. There were only about 5 people on the beach so the two of us basically had the beach to ourselves. Darwin took some pictures and allowed us space and time to ourselves. I will definitely go back to the beach when we come back and will ask for Darwin again!
