You take a bus 40 minutes out of Reims to small champagne winemakers. Something is told about the processing/production of the champagne and there is a tasting of extremely mediocre champagne. The ladies of the two visited champagne houses do not tire of offering their products for sale. (Price lists were available). It would have been much more interesting to visit the big houses in Reims. The driving time ( a lot of the time spent ) would have been eliminated. I didn't read that properly. Wouldn't do any more today. for the 115€/p-p. you can buy yourself already very good campagner.

Great experience! We had the tour with Thomas, who shared lots of useful information about the champagne-making process. The whole tour was very well organized; we left right on time and returned (a bit tipsy) with new memories and curiosities about the world of champagne :) The only thing I’d add would be a small snack to accompany the champagne tasting… Apart from that, I definitely recommend the experience!

Book your group together otherwise you can be separated. Very knowledgeable guide. Two great small production champagne houses. Have your guide drop you by the Reims Cathedral if you have time after the tour. So beautiful! Great restaurants across the street from the cathedral for lunch.

The tour was great. Our guide; Thomas was friendly, engaging, and very knowledgeable. He explained the wine making process and the entire local industry in a way that was interesting to the entire group even though only a couple of us had a true wine interest. The entire experience was interesting, well paced, and the champagnes we sampled were nothing short of fantastic. Definitely would recommend!

Very up close and personal guided tour with an expert wine educator, Jerome, with excellent English. We enjoyed this tour immensely. The wineries were welcoming and had a wide variety of different wines to sample. Everything we tasted was excellent. We will do this tour again.

We went on this Champagne tour on my mums birthday as a 60th birthday present. The tour was absolutely fantastic and our tour guide Jerome was brilliant. He was very informative, answered all our questions and was a pleasure to interact with. We couldn’t recommend the tour any more and think it was great value for money.

Martin from A la Française Tours gave us a great tour of two small family owned Champagne producers. He covered the complete production process. Very knowledgeable and passionate guide. We enjoyed two tastings including over 6 different Champagnes. The van was comfortable and air conditioned. He was also a great driver. A very nice way to explore the Champagne region!
