A wonderful nature trip with breathtaking landscapes! The visit to the village was also well worth the drive. The guide was professional and knowledgeable, and overall, this is a company you can trust. It was a real pleasure getting to know Bosnia through them. Highly recommended!

I just want to say that everything was wonderful. At the appointed time, a tour guide in a good car picked us up in downtown Sarajevo and drove us to the village of Umoljani. There were only four people in the group, including me, and everyone was well prepared. We took the long route over Mount Obalj. In Lukomir, we visited a restaurant and bought woolen items from local grandmothers for very little money. The entire journey from Umoljani and back took about 6-7 hours, including all the stops and lunch.

I highly recommend the Funky Tours' hike to Lukomir village if you fancy a day out in the nature. It's a fairly easy but enjoyable walk (easy for a mountain walk). You will be walking alongside a river canyon (or at least this is what my group did but I believe there's an alternative route. Your guide will help to choose the best route. Our guide was fun and passionate about the culture of Bosnia. I've learnt a lot about a range of topics (from difference between Turkish and Bosnian coffee to the history of Lukomir). Overall, it was a lovely experience with the cherry on top : traditional lunch in the village. Thank you, Funky Tours.

This was our third time in Sarajevo, but the first time we booked a trip through Meet Bosnia agency. Honestly? We regret waiting so long! What a fantastic experience-totally worth recommending to anyone who’s even remotely curious about Bosnia. Everything was on point from the get-go: smooth and safe transport, no stress, no chaos. The group was amazing - a mix of ages and backgrounds, but all united by one thing: a shared fascination with Bosnia. The hiking itself? Top-notch. Stunning views, fresh mountain air, and the kind of nature that makes you forget about your phone (except for the hundred photos you’ll want to take). The trail to Lukomir isn’t super hard, but solid shoes are a must. Also - in our case - sunscreen, because the weather was showing off. Now - star of the show: our guide Ahmed :) Laid-back, funny, and full of knowledge, but also totally professional. Real gem!!! He made sure everyone felt safe - whether people were sprinting up the trail or taking their sweet time relaxing and enjoying the views. Great trip and wonderful memories. Another Meet Bosnia excursion is a-must during our future stays in Sarajevo :)

We spent a nice day hiking, we were a small group of four people. Our driver drove very well. Adi, our young guide, said we were quick because it took us about two hours to get there and a little less to get back, some groups take three to three and a half hours. It was a sunny and very hot day but part of the path is in the shade and in Lukomir you can fill the bottles at the fountain. I go walking sometimes but I'm not particularly trained and trekking was not a problem. The path is well maintained and is not too steep. In Lukomir we had lunch with a great burek and walked through the houses. You can also get to Lukomir by car, but the walking path is very nice and you can enjoy a beautiful view all the time. I would do it again, recommend it to all those who want to spend a day in the mountains not far from Sarajevo!

Had a great day's hike to Lukomir. Our guide Ahmet was fantastic- really sociable and interesting as well as professional. We were in a friendly and small (6 total) group which was lovely. The hike itself was easy/moderate level- as someone who has done quite a bit of walking. Views were beautiful. The restaurant we ate at in the village was delicious and the owner very welcoming. All organisation by Meet Bosnia was good.
