It was a wonderful day in Travnik and Jajce. Our guide, Wael, was kind and knowledgeable about the history of the sites we went to. He also suggested an additional boat activity which was heavenly. I enjoyed every minute of this tour. Thank you so much for putting much effort into the organization of these tours.

We had a wonderful tour! Coming from a flat country, I so so so so love the green hills of Bosnia! And waterfalls too, because when a country has no mountains, water can not fall off :-) We had a nice small group of people, beautiful nature, and above all an excellent tour guide! The bonus was a sweet couple with a cute baby on our tour :-)

Wael (tour guide) was amazing. The programme had the Jajce castle and catacombs which is not worth it. But Wael recommended the boat ride in Pliva lake and it worth every second. I would recommend the boat ride to be an option instead of Jajce castle (disappointment).

We very much enjoyed our trip to Travnik, Jajce and Pliva with our tour guide Almir. He was a great guide, very down to earth and knowledgeable. We learnt many things from him about Bosnian history and history of all the key locations we visited. We was only a small group of 4 but the stops felt well paced and we never felt rushed in any location so had time to look around, explore and take pictures. At the conclusion of our trip the weather turned quite bad with heavy rain on the journey back. Almir however was so kind and dropped my friend and I back to our hotel so that we did not have to walk back in the rain. Overall we had a great day out and have some lovely memories to take back with us.

Lovely day trip from Sarajevo. Our guide was extremely informative. Also very attentive, he made frequent stops to stretch legs or for a bathroom break. As it is a small tour the group's wishes can be accomodated. It was very nice to get a glimpse into what Bosnia looked like in the middle ages. The scenery was magnificent with lots of beautiful photo opportunities.

We got to participate in the Jajce and Travnik day tour in May 2026. The tour was very enjoyable and fun, and very well organized. Special thanks to our guide Almir, who was very professional and gave us a lot of extra information about historical background of the region, as well as his experiences during war. We totally recommend Meet Bosnia Tours to everyone.

An incredible trip from start to finish! Wael was Enthusiastic guide with lots of expressive and knowledge. Extra one star for him. The whole group was so lovely. Exploring the historic streets and Ottoman architecture of Travnik (and eating the amazing Maslenica) was fantastic. Jajce truly is an open-air museum—the Royal Fort and the beautiful Pliva River watermills were breathtaking. Perfect mix of history, culture, and nature. Highly recommend!

This tour of the towns outside of and around Sarajevo was amazing and very worth it for the price. The tour guide was knowledgeable and made sure we were all having a good time. It was great to learn about the history of the country, eat some local food and see the beautiful countryside. Meet Bosnia is a great affordable company and their tours are such a great way to experience the city and surrounding areas! Thank you to our amazing tour guides!

I did the Eat Pray Love tour and opted for a solo tour. My guide, Suad, was great. He shared so much history and knowledge while taking me all around the Old City. I had an opportunity to try traditional Bosnian coffee, which he taught me how to properly drink, Burek and Baklava. He also showed me many of the historical sights and took me to a copper shop to hear first hand about the family business. Highly recommend!

A nice and enjoyable day out from Sarajevo, providing a nice contrast to the city and the history. The fortress in Travnik was impressive and the views were great. The waterfall in Jajce was pretty. Ayoub was again an excellent tour guide and took extra care to accommodate specific requests from our small group. It is quite a long day out and quite tiring, but worth it to see the nature and landscapes of Bosnia, which are very lush and green. Ayoub also recommended an excellent place for lunch at a restaurant/ecolodge set in the forests, which was very nice and atmospheric. I would recommend this day tour!
