What To Expect
Tirana
Your tour guide will pick you up either from your accommodation or a nearby meeting point for an easy start to the day. Get comfortable on the bus while your guide shares fun facts and interesting information about Albania and its lifestyle, making sure everything runs smoothly.
The first stop is after about an hour of driving, in the small town of Belsh. Here you’ll have 30 minutes to stretch your legs, enjoy a coffee, and take in the charm of this non-touristic area with its peaceful small lake and quiet surroundings. It’s a much nicer break than stopping at a gas station!

4.00What I love about the trip is there is no rush about it and we have plenty of time exploring the spots. However, it is better to have an earlier lunch time 😹😹 overall, it is a good and relaxing trip.

5.00This trip was a wonderful opportunity to explore the historic Berat Castle and the charming city of Berat, guided by an exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging tour guide called Noel. The pick-up point was clearly marked and punctual. However, as we were the first to be picked up, we spent around 40 minutes collecting other participants from additional locations. We enjoyed a brief 30-minute stop at the scenic shores of Belshi Lake, perfect for a short break and some photos, before continuing on to Berat Castle. I highly recommend staying close to the tour guide throughout the visit—his insights and explanations are incredibly informative and ensure you won’t miss any of the highlights. After the castle tour, we had two and a half hours of free time in Berat city to explore independently, enjoy a meal, or simply soak in the atmosphere. Overall, a well-organised and enriching experience.
