Dritan was such a great tour guide. We were picked up from just outside our hotel in Tirana and were taken on a small tour around the city. Dritan was very knowledgeable about the history of Tirana and the communist era. We were taken to a great spot up in the hills for a view of the whole city (which in my opinion is better than the one you get from the cable car). Dritan then took us to a few smaller towns on the way to the winery, providing some background on what it was like to live during the communist regime, particularly for those who lived in the villages. The winery was beautiful and had a range wines available including varieties that are only grown in the Berat region. Thank you Dritan for being such a great tour guide

My partner and I had an exceptional experience on our trip to Berat, one of the most beautiful and charming towns in Albania. Our tour guide, Zeni, was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about sharing the rich history and culture of this enchanting town. As we explored the "town of a thousand windows," we were captivated by the collection of white Ottoman houses climbing up the hill towards the castle, all surrounded by the stunning backdrop of rugged mountains. One of our favorite moments from the trip was our visit to a quaint restaurant in the heart of Berat, which offered an amazing view. The restaurant owner was incredibly hospitable, treating us to a variety of homemade rakia. We relished the warmth and generosity of the local people, which truly embodied the essence of Albanian hospitality. Our visit to the Cobo Winery was a delightful and memorable part of our journey. The wine was exquisite, and we couldn't resist bringing home as many bottles as we were allowed to import. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the winery owner had studied in Sweden, which added a personal connection to our experience. The winery visit was a highlight of our entire week in Albania. We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Albanian history, culture, and hospitality. A special thanks to Zeni for making our trip to Berat truly unforgettable.

My wife booked this tour for my birthday and the tour included two different wineries. They key to having a good experience is to have a good guide abs Randy delivered. He is a great English speaker and personable young man who was flexible and accommodating. He even had a surprise birthday cake for me at the second winery. If we hadn’t planned out the rest of the trip in Albania we would have taken more tours with Randy. We would highly recommend him.
