We took a tour with the Yellow Penguins to Punta Arenas, what a beautiful place! Visited the Fuerte Bulnes which had amazing views- lighthouse. where the Atlantic & Pacific Oceans meet. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and answered questions. We saw a monkey puzzle tree & dolphins.

Diego & Martin arranged an excellent tour of Punta Arenas featuring the Fuerte Bulnes. We went in very comfortable Mercedes mini buses to the national park at the edge of Punta Arenas. Yellow penguin has local tour guides who were extremely knowledgeable about the history and clearly explained what we were seeing. The history of the fort was very interesting. The nature surrounding it was a sight to behold. You are between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and surrounded by waterways and snow-capped mountains. There are birds and shrubbery native to the area. We went to the visitor’s center where there was an extensive display about the history of this part of the world in the southern most portion of South America. We had a drive back to the port area where we were able to see the town too. Highly recommend booking with yellow penguin.

The trip was surprisingly delightful. Beautiful scenery with a lovely coastal walk along Magellan Straight where we stopped to watch dolphins. One of the last wildernesses on the planet. V interesting museum at visitors’ centre. Drive to the park was along the coast which was a bonus
