Had a great time! Omar was brilliant communicating beforehand and the whole team of guys who drive you (sitting on the back of a pick-up! Fun!) and guide the kayak tour itself were great - really friendly and made us feel welcome. They worked really hard, helping in the water and lugging the kayaks through the jungle while we ate lunch! Didn’t expect that! We had 2 guides (I think one was training?) for our family of four and another couple. The caves were amazing - what an experience! - and varied in their “scenery” and the lunch/swim stop was (open air and) picturesque. There were small rapids… felt like rapids just because of the water speed but no white water and super shallow (April anyway) so no danger, could have just stood up at any time if in difficulty… so moments of excitement too. Kayaking was not at all hard work as all with the current so don’t worry about that! Two 11 year old kids were fine and any time they went a bit off course (too near the wall etc) due to not following instructions (it was quite hard for them to understand what to do as the kayaks necessarily stay away from each other during each chat and there was water noise and unfamiliar accents to understand ) there was help on hand and you basically couldn’t go wrong as you just sit in a kayak and go with the current. It wasn’t cold at all (again, in April)… whereas I remember being a bit cold cave-tubing in April years ago and looking forward to being back out in the sun!… I suppose because then you are half in the water. Only one cave we saw anyone else (so a very small proportion of the trip) - many tubers - and one difference was they were beaching in the cave and walking around a bit looking at the formations and things. Might be worth bearing in mind if you like to have a good look around inside caves. This is not that. I think I was happy just to keep going - it felt adventurous and we covered so much ground we saw plenty of cave “on the fly”! I could do without “and this stalactite looks like the Virgin Mary” etc tbh… more fun to be whizzing past on an adventure! Way more fun than tubing and we would definitely repeat the awesome experience! Thank you Belize Inland Tours!

Guides & tour company were great, they were even able to change the day of our trip at the last minute. First 2 caves the best - neat formations, just us.

We did the 7 mile cave kayaking tour with Belize inland tours. We were family of 4, with 11 and 16 year old. This was our first time kayaking. The experience can’t be described in words and it exceeded every expectation! From start to finish, the experience was professionally organized, safe, and incredibly enjoyable. Communication with Omar was easy and fast. He answered all questions quickly and provided necessary information. Rony and Kevin took us out kayaking and were knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and natural beauty of the caves. Their expertise made us feel completely at ease, even for those in our group who were first-time kayakers. Paddling through the caves was breathtaking — the stunning rock formations, the play of light and shadow, and the serene atmosphere made it an experience we'll never forget. The guides shared fascinating stories and insights, enhancing our appreciation of the natural wonders around us. Half way through the tour, they arranged a picnic lunch by Riverside in a most beautiful setting. They also took care of our dietary restrictions. If you're looking for a memorable, exciting, and immersive experience, we wholeheartedly recommend the 7 mile Cave kayaking tour by this company. They truly go above and beyond to make the adventure special. Thank you for an incredible experience!

6-ish hour cave kayaking, way better than tubing. It allowed for more caves and exploration. Several really cool caves that had tons of bats in them but they don’t bother you. It was just cool seeing them fly around. We had Vida and Kevin as our guides and they were amazing. Long day of paddling but not difficult kayaking, very easy rapids sections. Lunch provided was totally adequate (they asked about dietary issues in advance) and there is a short hiking section through the jungle. Make sure and wear good water shoes (not Crocs in sports mode) and bring good bug spray (high Deet concentration like 98%). Turns out there are a lot of bugs in the jungle. An experience you won’t forget.

This day out is such a fantastic way to explore the cave systems! Vida, Omar, Ronnie and the rest of the team helped all 19 of us have the best day navigating the emerald green waters of this phenomenal place. We had their support and humour guiding us all day and it was so much fun! From start to finish, this is a full day of exploring - just the trip on the back of the truck across the fruit farm to the drop in point was incredible - we spotted so many birds along the way! The kayaking was varied, exciting, colourful and just so serene as you make your way from cave to cave, popping out into the lush greenery between them. Loved the pace of the day, the al fresco lunch and all the history and atmosphere of this magical place. An absolute must-do for anyone who loves nature!

90% of time is spent kayaking on river 400 to 500 ft underground. You start at hummingbird hwy & end at george price hwy. Which is incredible the distance you travel underground. 5 windows to outside you float past. Picnic lunch at one cave opening. One 1/4 mile portage in middle. Absolutely amazing. One of the best adventures you will ever do. Would repeat again & again.

We did this tour on the second day of our vacation. The first day we did the Actun Tunichil Muknal cave tour. The next day we did this tour and it too was great!! It was my husband and my 2 college-age daughters. Omar was so pleasant and easy to deal with. We were picked up at our hotel and they were right on time. The van was very nice. They drove us to the place to pick up the Kayaks and there were nice bathrooms there. The ride in the back of the pickup truck to the drop-off site was very fun and the scenery with the fields and mountains was beautiful! It was so green and we had fun ducking under the branches. We had a tour guide and his helper. I forgot their names but they were super!! The caves were awesome and it was quite the experience to shut off our lights to see how pitch black it is in the cave. The 2 guides had to carry our kayaks around some water that was running too fast and we were sure glad they carried them for us! We had a nice walk in the jungle to the next place to put in and we enjoyed looking at the huge leaves. I recommend this over tubing which looked boring as you're tethered to the whole group. The kayaking was very easy for us. We stopped for lunch at a sandy spot outside the last cave. They spread out a little tablecloth and served flour tortillas with the fixings. At the last bend, my daughter dropped her phone in the water and the guide found it!! All in all it was a wonderful time!! Afterwards, we hired them to drive us to the water taxi in Belize City to head to San Pedro. The driver was excellent, very personable. The next day they emailed me pictures that they took of us which was so very nice and a bonus! I highly recommend this tour, but mostly using Belize Inland Tour! It was a very pleasant experience

What an awesome experience! We got to go through 5 caves not three like most other tour companies. Ronnie , Kevin and Omar were very accommodating. I totally recommend this experience.

Livin la Vida Loca! We LOVED this tour. It was such a unique experience. Our tour guide Vida led us through 5 caves. Each was unique and offered something special. The first few we traveled through were completely quiet but, for our paddles in the water. It was the most relaxing, incredible experience. Our guide shared details about each cave, formations, wildlife and Belizean culture. Yummy lunch was provided. It was the best way to spend time outdoors AND stay cool. 10/10 recommend
