3.00First, I want to say that the company that rents the bikes was very friendly and informative. Our bikes were in good condition, and we received a lock and repair kit as described. What i wish I had known about the actual bike route experience.... > you will definitely be on a busy narrow road with very little room for fast cars to pass you. It made me anxious. >while we were led to pull up Google maps with the waterfall stops marked, we lost connection, and the waterfalls are not marked very obviously, so we missed a few >the return truck that will take you and your bike back to Banos was described as $3/person, however, when no one else needed a ride in our truck, we were told we had to pay $6/each. I understand this decision by the driver, but wish it had been described accurately ahead of time. Overall, I would have been more comfortable driving out riding in a taxi to see the waterfalls.

5.00Perfect days event, hired mountain bikes for a full day and followed the road downhill via several waterfalls. We parked at each waterfall, locked out bikes together with the supplier chain, even put the helmets through the chain, then took the cable cars across, or walked down to the rope bridges. The hikes back up were very hot, but relatively short! Bikes were great, I couldn't get the highest 5 gears, but not necessary as you don't need to pedal downhill! Never needed the lower 5 as the up hill sections are short and not too steep. Perfect way to spend a day, came back in a truck for $4, would have been $3 if we wanted to wait for other bikes. Amazingly long way back and nearly all uphill. You don't realise how far you go while free wheeling downhill! Brilliant, highly recommend.
