Bo-kaap
Bo-Kaap’s -formerly known as the Malay Quarter-, dates back to the 1760's, when numerous rental houses “huurhuisjes”; were built and leased to slaves brought from Malaysia, Indonesia and the rest of Africa to work in the Cape. It is a mix of Cape Dutch and Georgian Architecture. Houses were later repainted with bright colors by their owners as an expression of their freedom! Take a walk and discover these awe-inspiring colorful houses, explore the Cape Malays culture and cuisine or visit some of the art galleries to take a look at locally produced crafts.

From the heights of Table Mountain to the wild beauty of Cape Point, every stop was unforgettable. We cruised Chapman’s Peak, met penguins at Boulders Beach, and soaked in Muizenberg’s coastal vibe. The city tour tied it all together with history and heart. A day of wonder, perfectly guided.

Jean Marie knows his way around and has a wonderful lovable way of imparting his excellent local knowledge. We have booked it several times, this year for a three-day tour to all the sights of the city and the surrounding area . We learned a lot about the city, the surrounding area, the landscape, nature and history of South Africa. You can really only highly recommend it, it is absolutely reliable, very flexible and also makes excellent suggestions for, for example, weather-related required plan changes.

Highly recommended! Great guide, perfect route, fantastic views – the private tour is ideal for experiencing Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope in one day. I had the opportunity to do this tour with my father. We always felt that was safe. In addition, our guide Jean-Marie was very helpful, top trained and spoke very good English.

We had an amazing day visiting so many sights from Table Mountain to Mulzenberg. Our guide - Jean -was a wealth of information and so interested in us seeing all that there was to see - from wildlife, to rocks that sank ships. It was our first full day in Africa, but my husband kept saying. - today will be the highlight of my trip (yes, he knows we have safaris in our itinerary). Jean just made the day special.

My tour guide and driver took me to all the places I wanted to see! I can't believe how beautiful cape Town city is. I really have a good time with the penguins, especially the seal. I can't find words to express my gratitude for choosing the accommodating, helpful , honest driver!
