Overtime hotel pickup and transfer to Base Camp. There, the insanely friendly and funny staff gives an extensive introduction to the secrets of the Tuk Tuks and how to drive them. Since I had to change the vehicle during the briefing, I can confirm the claim that each has its own personality 🤣 After a short exam, there is a short drive to get used to over lonely side roads to a small temple. Afterwards, we head to the elephant camp via normal roads. After lunch you can feed the animals. Then follow a walk along the river and if the elephants feel like bathing, you can watch. Then a short drive in a jeep for rafting. The "boat masters" make a tremendous show of it and make a drama of every whirl in the water. The duration of the trip depends on the water level and the resulting current, but is definitely great fun. After a short trip in the jeep you can dry yourself in the elephant camp, then unfortunately the return journey by tuk tuk takes place and a great day ends much too early. A big thank you to the two main managers of the club who made a big contribution to the success of the day with their warm and very funny manner.

Fab one day tour by tour guide Big. Tuk Tuk through county side up to a remote private temple with a fantastic 360 degree view but many steps. Then on to the long neck village. His knowledge of the tribes and governance was outstanding and an education. On to a view point to see Burma and Laos on the coast of Thailand. Lunch was the best we had on our 31 days in Thailand. Elephant time. But this was not a so called sanctuary. It was a private safe place. Yes the elephants had keepers but they were free. Not made to do anything. They were fed and we were allowed to give them desert. Their trunks fort for the cane and bananas. But no commands . Just play. They need walking after lunch so we walked with them. Told not to get in front of them. They just strolled along, eating vegetation. Rolling in mad which I did get in the direct line of babies trunk full of muddy water which the guide and my parter thought was very funny. Great fun and no tricks or any other unnatural control. Our guide had been a keeper there in the past and knew each one of them by name. We were the only ones there. On to another view point of the main river used for importing. Then to the river rafting which was great. My wife was not looking forward to this but had a ball. Starting in sunshine about 10 mins into the trip, the sky went black and the water faster. We could see the rain coming down in the distance. We ended up rafting in a full on thunder storm which actually made it more fun when the guide with the pole guiding the raft put a plastic bag on his head, keeping his head dry protecting from fever. We then had to get off at a rocky part of the river and scramble across giant wet rocks, which was great being 64 with leg issue but was accomplished bear foot. Back onto the raft. Expensive yes, but what a packed day. Back to our hotel where we had been picked up.

A really great day! Our guide, OA, was most entertaining, fun and energetic. He provided us a most enjoyable day and was great company from start to finish. An absolute highlight of our vacation in Thailand.

One of the coolest adventures we’ve ever done. Every part of the trip was beautiful and exciting. Big (our guide) was such a treasure. He taught us a lot about Northern Thailand and answered our many questions.

Everything about our experience with the Tuk Tuk Club was amazing from beginning to end. When I first reached out to Bruce to book he let me know that the day we wanted was full, but he was able to squeeze us in and was so easy to work with. The communication from Bruce was great and our transfer from Chiang Mai was on time and very comfortable. Our guide for the day, Yaya, was wonderful. We had the best time with her! Everything from touring the temples to walking with elephants and river rafting was perfectly planned. We managed to avoid all the crowds which was especially impressive since we visited during the festivals and there were definitely many people in the area. We highly recommend booking with the Tuk Tuk Club and touring with Yaya!

The Tuk Tuk Club 1 Day Adventure was absolutely wonderful, definitely one of the highlights of our whole trip to Thailand, which was amazing in itself. The organization was perfect and the attention paid to every detail was astounding. Bruce has a great team and some nice tuktuks there, congratulations! Our guides Nam and Juanita were perfect in every way, they made us feel safe, comfortable and always with big smiles, and very good explanations in perfect English (not so easy to find in Thailand, I might add!) and really amazing vibes with other people on the road and in the activities. The tuktuks in themselves were also very easy to drive, the crash course was really useful (and fun!). The activities were also brilliant. We had a great time with the elephants, one that we will not forget ever, for sure! Also the bamboo rafting (even though we had the exact same experience two days before, the one we did with The Tuk Tuk Club was, for some reason, far more enjoyable!), the temple visit… Food was also very good and the water bottles are a great souvenir! Bruce's attention was also perfect since the beginning and we are feeling very lucky to have been able to have had a spot with The Tuk Tuk Club for that day,.

Easily the best tour I’ve taken anywhere. Our guides were so kind and took us to incredible places we wouldn’t have found otherwise. If you can get a spot do it.

We loved everything about this trip. The experience of driving in a Tuk Tuk to places with few or no tourists. The area of Mae Nam is very beautiful and green. Lots of farming in this area. The waterfall, the temple ofcourse the elephants and the bamboo rafting to finish things of..it was all fantastic! Our guide was Naam. She is very easygoing, funny and very informative about everything we passed along the way and the activities. This tour is one of the best experiences we have had!
