We want you to know every corner of Puerto Rico. For this reason, in this adventure, we will be visiting three different unique destinations on the north coast of the island. Visit part of the karst area; the rock formations in this area have formed an unforgettable landscape toward the Atlantic Sea. Enjoy the stunning views from this area and learn about the rich and abundant history of Puerto Rico. We continue our journey to the mountain and visit one of the most impressive caves on the island. The visit will be carried out by experienced and informed guides to give you the best possible experience and finally, we will be going a little further into nature where will visit two waterfalls where you can enjoy the rest of the day on the river. If weather conditions are dangerous, we will visit a natural spring instead.
This is an active tour which requires moderate physical activity and basic swimming skills.

Cueva Ventana
Explore one of the most impressive cave system in the Occidental area with a small group and private guide. Will start on a clean trail down into Cueva Clara, the hike through a beautiful sub tropical forest surrounded by lush vegetation and lime stone formations. Ones we arrive to the cave, will venture in to explore, admire and learn about its formations, ecosystem and history. Continuing to our second cave; a hidden gem with a breath taking view of the Arecibo River.
Rio Tanama
Cool down and enjoy our hidden waterfalls while river trekking into one of the karstic zone canyons. Once we complete a 15-minute hike through the water and beautiful rock formations, we will reach one of the most impressive waterfalls in the northern region. Once there, you will be able to swim, go under the waterfalls, and do some cliff jumping (all optional at the second waterfall). You will get wet and enter the water up to chest level (we provide life jackets). Important: If the weather does not make it safe for us to enter the water, we will go to a natural spring instead.

The tour was very professional, and our guide was outstanding—so knowledgeable that even people from other groups came over to listen and thank him. Despite some weather changes, he kept a great attitude and adapted the plan seamlessly. Highly recommend!

We had a great time!! Our guide Jose was fantastic - providing a lot of history and interesting facts along the way. Be prepared for a lot of walking on uneven terrain (very rocky) and some moderate “climbing”. My fear of heights was tested a little but thought it was so worthwhile. We loved seeing the beautiful scenery and learning about the indigenous people of Puerto Rico. Highlights - the window cave and the seven arches. Highly recommend.

Words can’t even begin to describe how much I adore Jose. From the moment he picked us up to the very end of the tour, he made us feel like family. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time. His insight into the natives of Arecibo was fascinating—I genuinely felt like I was in a class (in the best way). He answered every single question with so much depth and passion. And on top of all that, he’s funny AF—we were laughing and joking the whole time. When the waterfall wasn’t safe to visit, he took us to his favorite beach spot instead, which ended up being such a highlight. Truly an unforgettable experience thanks to him. Honestly, Jose wasn’t just our tour guide—he was the highlight of our entire trip. If there’s any justice in this world, he’s getting a raise immediately (and maybe a bonus for putting up with us 😂). If you’re even thinking about booking this tour, do it—and pray you get Jose.

This was a great tour that hit a river, waterfall, and two caves, as well as an awesome lunch (some of the best food of the trip).

This was the most amazing trip while visiting Puerto Rico. It had everything — adventure, nature, beautiful places, real authentic Puerto Rican food, and learning about the history and the Native Taíno people. Our guide Jose was absolutely amazing. He was very informative and pointed out so many interesting and cool things along the way. He really made the whole experience special. The scenery was beautiful, and we got to see places we would never have found on our own. We went to Cueva Ventana, which was amazing views of the valley. Then we visited a waterfall, and Jose helped us safely walk through the rocks and water. We even went under the waterfall — it was very cool. Did jumping from the rocks Lunch at the BBQ restaurant was some of the best (and cheapest!) food we had on the trip. Jose also helped everyone choose their meals, which made it easy. At the end, we visited Indian cave with amazing views and interesting carvings. My son was a little nervous to go inside, but Jose helped him feel comfortable, and it was totally worth it. I can’t recommend this tour enough!

This was easily one of the best travel tour experiences I have ever had! Joma is an AMAZING guide! She is personable, knowledgeable, and fun! The tour is a bit more physically demanding, but Joma made sure everyone was safe. She's basically a photographer, too! She asked everyone in the group if we wanted photos at beautiful scenes and even took photos on her phone to upload to a Google Drive folder with access after the tour- no extra charge!!! Joma and this tour was truly an experience I will never forget. If you are thinking about it, I recommend!

All three events were amazing. The caves and the waterfalls and the ocean arches. 10/10 the best thing we did there. MAKE SURE IF YOU BOOK THIS YOU REQUEST JOSÉ AS YOUR TOUR GUIDE. He added an immense amount of value to the tour. Plus he’s like the Puerto Rican Fabio
