This village experience begins with a bus trip from all hotels OR cruise ship port. A short drive 12km away from Port Vila Township lies this perfect setting nestled in the heart of the woods of Teouma. Visitors will be greeted by the chief and his warriors with clubs, spears, bows and arrows. THE TRIP RELATE TALES OF CANNIBALISM IN THE NOT SO DISTANT PAST , THE PRIMITIVE BUT EFFECTIVE SPEARS AND OTHER METHODS & TECHNIQUES FOR TRAPPING WILD LIFE'S INCLUDING PIGS, CHICKEN AND FISH . IF IT IS SUSPECTED THAT SOME FISH MAYBE POISONOUS, NI VANUATU WILL DEMONSTRATE A SAMPLE ON THE GROUND; IF ANTS AVOID IT, IT'S POISON HOWEVER IF ANTS EAT IT SO DO THE PEOPLE.

5.00Moses our tour guide was very professional with a great sense of humor. We went to a cultural village that was very interesting. Went to the Blue lagoon that was beautiful. Lunch was in a magical place with a great view. What I mostly liked about this tour was the fact that the places we visited were all owned and operated by the local communities. We stopped at the hot springs and mud baths, went to the coffee makers. Unfortunately the kava shop was closed and we opted not to stop at the markets as we were worn out. Moses was quite flexible and was quite happy to answer all of our questions.

5.00We had a great day on this tour! It's the best way to see Éfaté. We enjoyed everything we did and Philip was a very knowledgable guide. It was great being in a small group and it felt like we got so much out of the trip and could ask specific questions. Philip also knew everyone so it felt like a very personal tour. Tough to pick a highlight as there was so many! Must say that the view for lunch was possibly one of the best ever. You will not regret this tour!
