The tour guide (Chris) was very knowledgeable. The tour was as advertised, and we had one of the best meals of our cruise during our free time.

The team & Cristina were fantastic! There was confusion around port times thanks to our cruise ship using a different time to mainland Spain, but the team were fantastic communicators & reassured us that our guide would be at the port waiting for us. Cristina was very knowledgeable, a fantastic communicator & friendly! She made time to speak to all the different parties within the group & shared her favourite local places to visit during our free time. There was a decent amount of walking over stone slabbed streets but it was taken at a gentle pace. The museum has one large step into the building & a few staircases but with sturdy handrails. As for the inside of the cathedral, stunning! Cristina gave detailed talks about a few of the items in the museum & in the cathedral. This tour is great if you enjoy learning about pilgrimage or the architecture of cathedrals & skipping the queue is always a plus!

Quite a lot of Walking, but at a slow pace, not a problem. Guide was very knowledgeable and unfortunately My Wife had a fall between the Museum and the Cathedral, where the Steps were very Dark; however, every assistance was given and no lasting effects but could have been a lot worse

This was an excursion for cruisers and it certainly exceeded expectations in many ways. It was very easy to find our tour guide when we disembarked from our ship. Our tour guide Adrien was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He gave us the history of our port, Vigo, and then gave some time for quiet. Before we reached Santiago he gave us information and the history of the city, the church and the pilgrimage to the church via the Camino de Santiago. We had a guided tour through Santiago, then time to explore before a hour within the church. The timing, the history, the comfort of the bus were excellent. It’s a bit of a bus ride but you should definitely visit this city! Thanks Viator for another excellent experience!
