We enjoyed the trip a lot. Dolores our guide was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide but sometimes difficult to catch all the names, locations of the historical events. Still learned a lot during this trip.

We recently took a full day tour from our cruise port in Vigo to Santiago de Compostela with Optimus Tour (booked via Viator) and had a truly memorable experience. Our guide was Carolina who warmly asked us to call her Carol and she was wonderful from start to finish The tour bus was clean air conditioned and very comfortable. It also had free WiFi which came in very handy to keep our little girls entertained during the drive. The ride felt smooth and safe thanks to our excellent and courteous driver Carol was very knowledgeable and shared so much history and insight throughout the day. She answered all our questions with patience and enthusiasm and made sure everyone felt welcome and cared for. When we arrived in Santiago she gave us about an hour and 45 minutes of free time to explore and enjoy lunch. Her recommendations on where and what to eat were spot on and very helpful After the free time we met her at the cathedral where she introduced us to a local guide for an interior visit. We were provided with earphones so we could clearly hear the guide and the experience inside the cathedral was truly unforgettable. The cathedral is breathtaking and the chance to hug the relic was a deeply emotional and spiritual moment — absolutely the highlight of the tour for me The cathedral guide was also excellent and very informative. We really enjoyed this tour and would absolutely recommend Optimus Tour and Carol to anyone visiting this beautiful part of Spain. Thank you for such a well organized meaningful and memorable day.

This was a great tour. The guide provided a lot of history on the way to Santiago and gave us some free time once we arrived. We had a different guide to take us into the cathedral and she was also enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!
