This activity is one of a kind, you'll get a fun, educational adventure from experienced enthusiastic guides. The Mayan kingdom is the foundation of the history of Central America and Belize and exploring it the right way is priceless. At the end of the tour you'll have a new found appreciation for history, art and Belizean culture, and of course a ton of awesome photos and memories. Lastly our tours are done in small groups of 10 people the most, this is to ensure an optimal experience for everyone that decides to join us.

What To Expect

*** MUST READ: This tour is fun filled and memorable day but none of these sites are on an island. If you are on an island you will need to take the first ferry off & head to Belize City for pick up*** This tour will take you on a adventure back into a 1000 years in history itself. You will explore the wonders of the mayan world, their cave systems on a tube , jungle and plants. We will go explore the Mayan Temple Altun ha, you'll get to hike to the top and around it with our guide giving you all you need to know about the site and the maya world. Then we head deeper into the jungle to go explore the cave systems. We will hike for about 20mins with out tubes through the jungle, you'll get a fun lesson on plant identification, insect identification and all their medicinal uses throughout history in Belize. Then we cave tube down and river and through several caves enjoying the scenery. Lastly we Zipline over the jungle canopy. We then return to Belize City in the evening around 4pm. This amazing experience starts at 8am in Belize City . The pick up would be at your hotel in Belize or arrival port if coming from the islands.

Anssar was such a great guide on our excursion! Very accommodating, kind and friendly. Always looking out for everyone in our group. Anssar always offered to assist all of us throughout the excursion. I would come back and highly recommend this to anyone looking to see the beauty of belize. The caves were incredible! Pick up was easy, on time, and tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Flash flood the night before had closed the caves due to the water being too high. But we had the option to still go and see Alton Ha and zip lining with the 50/50 chance caves might reopen later in the day or get a partial refund if they don’t open. Long story short, we lucked out and the caves opened later in the day. Turned out to be a great trip overall it was informative and a great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed the activities and tours. Our tour guide was prompt and helpful, very communicative. Following his instructions was very easy and he was super friendly, making it easy to ask questions and converse. The only thing I wish was different was I wish we had been taught more about the history of the cave and the ruins. We were given a brief overview but the in-depth facts and information wasn’t as present as I would have liked. Lunch was fantastic, tour guide was prompt and great at timing around the cruise ship crowd, and very nice. If you are just looking to do the activities and have some great photo ops, this is perfect!

My sister and I really enjoyed this excursion! We learned about the history of the Mayan Ruins/temples. My tour guide Brian was very enthusiastic to teach us the history of the temples and give us facts about Belize. He kept the tour interesting even allowing us time to stop and take pictures. The zip lining was both fun and thrill seeking, even seen some tiny creatures along the way. Afterwards, We stopped for lunch and boy it was amazing. Last but not least did the cave tubing! . It was very exciting, loved how he kept the good energy, telling us facts about the caves and journey leading up to it. Great job to Brian, it was a great way to bring in my birthday and would definitely recommend and do again!

We had a perfect day. Our tour guide, Josh, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He shared so many interesting facts about Belize and the culture. The ruins were beautiful. Josh showed us lemon grass and the medicinal benefits of all spice and several other plants. The zip lining was so fun and our guides made us feel safe in the trees. My highlight was zip lining over the river. Our final stop was tubing down the river and through the caves. The caves seemed like something from a movie set. They were so gorgeous. We had a magnificent day. We recommend Josh 10/10.

Our guide, Joey, was so knowledgeable about all things Belize! He was easy to communicate with prior to our adventure day via WhatsApp and answered all questions we had. He made our drive to the various sights enjoyable by providing information about the areas we were driving through along the way. It was a long day, but well worth it! Be prepared for lots of physical activity!
