What To Expect
Departure Time: Early morning from Cusco The Full Day Laguna Humantay begins early in the morning in Cusco. We will pick you up at your hotel and begin a picturesque bus trip to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike to Humantay Lagoon. Panoramic Trip and Arrival to Soraypampa During the trip, you will be able to enjoy stunning views of the Andean landscapes, with majestic mountains and green valleys that will leave you breathless. Once in Soraypampa, you will have time to have breakfast and prepare for the exciting hike that awaits you. Ascent to Humantay Lagoon With expert guides and accompanied by other enthusiastic travelers, you will begin the walk to Humantay Lagoon. The trail will take you through impressive natural settings, where you will be surrounded by the majesty of the Andes.

The Magic of Humantay Lagoon After approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of hiking, you will reach the top where you will be rewarded with a spectacular panoramic view of Humantay Lagoon. 5.00We hired several excursions with Inca Trilogy, and we were more than happy with them all! The excursion to Laguna Humantay was beautiful. The Guide, Julio, was excellent in his handling of the group, always attentive to the needs of everyone, his experience and professionalism were noticeable. The driver and transport, also excellent, making a fairly long trip, is done inside everything pleasant! As for the lagoon itself, needless to say, the scenery is beautiful, the way to the go can be a little demanding, as it is on the climb, but taking the time needed to rest, can be done and has no more difficulty than that.

5.00Amazing. Ask for Claudia and Jason as your guides. Claudia is a book of knowledge when it comes to the Inca civilization I learned so much about their values, beliefs, all while enjoying the amazing scenery. The hike is very challenging I am semi active, but not a true hiker and would rate it 10/10 bc of the altitude. They do have horses to transport up the mountain. Worth the struggle to make it to the top
