I really enjoyed this tour. It covers a lot of interesting and beautiful places around Kyrgyzstan and includes almost everything. My guide, Anvar, could not be better. Although my tour was in Russian, I could note that his English was perfect as well. He knew everything in detail about all the places and shared with me many interesting details about Kyrgyzstan and its culture. The tour is definitely a must for nature lovers and for tourists who would like to cover different places not far from Bishkek in only one day.

My wife and I had an amazing day with Faruk on Friday! We were the only two clients on the tour and, after attending to a couple of errands in the city, we headed for Chunkurchak. Starting at the Sky Bridge (which my wife crossed!) and a view of the waterfall and the Bungie Jumping platform, we headed deeper into the foothills. The panoramas were amazing! Herds of horses, cows and (naked) sheep were everywhere, with their accompanying herders and their working yurts. It was so pastoral that the cows were frequently lying in the roadway! We stopped for a nice lunch (Faruk brought good noodles!) at the chair lift and zipline. After lunch we took a short ride up the chair, but decided not to zipline ... for several reasons ;-) We kept following the road all the way to the Supara Hotel, where we got out and walked around a bit before heading back down to Ala Archa National Park. On the way we stopped for a few minutes at a memorial to the 1916 to over 100 Kyrgysh 'protestors' killed by the Soviet regime, and then continued. Ala Archa was beautiful ... all pine forests and mountain rivers, which were being tapped for their spring water. We walked along a nice easy path, and saw several red squirrels. There were lots of signs indicating the wildlife to be found in the Park. Then it was back to Bishkek, where Faruk dropped us at a great local restaurant, with a recommendation for another that specialized in pastries to try the next day. All together, a super day, and we highly recommend the tour!!!
